This should show how much they keep us dealers in the dark. Our Interactive Network is based off PST time and they haven't told us an exact time or anything yet for our video that we get to see. But they have the countdown on their site which is actually a different countdown than ours...
As of now who knows how they are going to play out the events regarding releasing the info.
I do wish Honda would give us at least a little bit of a headstart as dealers to get the info scattered and help us promote our sites etc instead of all the online publications that will have it instantly if it goes like it has in the past. In return us lil guys don't stand a chance on the search engines etc.
So that just looks like new forks, new wheels and new plastic...
Pretty much the same as what they did with the 03-04 and 05-06 bikes...
Wonder what 'revised ecu settings' actually means? Could be 'Sorry but the greenies have gotten to us again so you get less power in order for us to meet new emissions laws'

I really like those RIMS!!!!! Wonder if they will fit on my 09 without much hassle!! Wonder if that Showa big Piston Fork is a lot better than the standard forks on the 09RR and if that would constitute a possible refit as well...
I dunno how I feel about it. Reminds me of a BMW 850-series
It reminded me more of the older R6s. Honestly, I'm not really digging the looks. I think it's funny though that they brought back the vents and in tail taillight though. I thought for sure the center up exhaust would be gone and we would have seen a 1000RR tail and low sung exhaust. Now Honda is all alone in that aspect.

I do not like the nose at all, I will def be keeping my 08. I can not believe they didnt do a major overhaul. The Kawi 636 is going to destroy them in sales this year.

With Kawi kicking Honda's tail in the HP rating department I certainly hope not. Kawi in all their sport bikes have been outclassing Hondas in that regard. Honda needs to save face and make a competitive bike or risk losing to the 636 when the shoot-out come up.

Agreed. Good call on the resemblance to the older R6's. Seems so... outdated.

I agree. The red is too plain. Only thing I really like is the new wheels and suspension. And the fact that theirs a 600 repsol now. That nose just kills me though. Bleh.
The red color is... too red. And for someone like me, who is a fiend for red, that's saying something. Too plain.
No plan for one of these to replace my 09.
I think it's because this is the first model 600RR without any added black plastic trim on it other than the exhaust cover. I never would have thought I missed the tank panels but I agree with you totally. Solid color is plain as can be.
I wish they would have put a picture up of the gauge cluster. Curious on how that looks too.
My guess would be the same style. The new cluster on the 1K was one of the big upgrades that they were showing off. No mention of it here but we'll just have to wait and see.
