Is it just the 600 or the whole line up don to the CBR250 and the 125 scooter they're mad at? Either way it's hilarious. I should buy the 125cc scooter and join the Repsol forum

Wow those guys make me glad to not be a part of the liter bike community. The general level of intelligence on that forum seems to be severely lacking. The most ironic part about them talking trash on 600s is that most of them would probably get smoked like a bong by an experienced rider on a 6.
Small penis syndrome is in full effect in that thread.
Seriously, I have to guide him with my finger to his food everyday because he can't find it on his own. I have been feeding him in the same spot for over 6 years... Maybe it's my fault for not training him properly... lol

I can agree with that, but I have also seen a few that troll around the 600rr.net as well. I suppose if you look hard enough, you can find them anywhere. It's just easier to find them in some places than others I guess. Just and keep on
The join date of the majority of those guys are of this year so I'm guessing they either came from another bike forum or they have never even owned a bike before now.
Oh and The X good goin mate educating those ignorant morons.

lol that was funny... but your right his bmw argument was justifying your point...
Quote:
My example disproved your point. THe M badge is on the performance versions of BMW's cars and it is not the same as Honda slapping it on all of their bikes simply because all of Honda's bikes are not 'superbikes'.
How are you missing this glaring point?
THe spirit of the M badge is to represent performance. Superbikes are performance motorcycles .. 250ccs and scooters are not and respsol has no business being on them. Given the spirit of what it represents, it has been cheapened. You can say what you like, its the consumer that matters and Honda is looking out for its bottom dollar (in the short term) rather than honoring a long term tradition. A simple course in B' school reflects this as a company : cheapening its brand to hopefully temporarily increase profits.. Brand being the Repsol image and what it signifies. W/ it on everything including a donkey cart, it will slowly cease to have any meaning and after an iteration or two fail to command a price premium.
Details you are failing to see. But continue to apply base logic and call people who understand this haters.. It's a common deflection now-a-days when someone makes points contrary to just saying : Whatever bro
1) every model line has a "m" edition (M1, M3, M5, M6) and now every Honda (well not every but you get it) model line has a repsol (250, 600, 1000)
2) hes assuming that the "repsol" was on the 1000 because its a "performance " motorcycle.... I would give him that if there was any other changes to a repsol edition other then paint and powder coat. The "M" edition cars have serious upgrades in every department over the base cars. its not even close to the same thing.
3) its been cheapened? I guess they are unaware that we have had after market "repsol" plastics available to us for a long time now... no one better tell them they might explode!
4) it will no longer be special? its not like they are that special to begin with.. I mean once agine its just paint. also will they be making thousands more 1000 repsol then they would other wise? it will still be special if you looking for a 1000.. it will be special if you looking for a 600... If ABS brakes came as an option on 1000rrs for a few years and then got put on 600's as well will that make the price of ABS 1000rr's go down compared to other 1000rr's? because ABS is no longer special to 1000rr's?
Oh btw my car has the "sport package" and the stock wheels had the "m" logo on them... oh no the "m" brand is not tarnished!
