What kind of license bracket is that? Do they fold up?
It's a modified 'stock exhaust' bracket I received from Tripage when I ordered the IT.
I will take a few photos of it later and post up. Essentially Tripage had nothing (at the time) that really worked with my exhaust so I had to get all creative.
I've been trying to find info on the install of the MOTYdesign gage and I'm clueless, how easy is the install and what does it entail?

Hey man, if you know how to take your nose fairing off, you should be able to install the MOTY gage.
Once you take the fairing off, there will be a couple of bolts that you unscrew that keep the guage in place (also keep an eye out for a few hiding in the fairing stay). Once the bolts and screws are out, you simply pull the guage off and thats that. impulsebsd pretty much summed it all up in HIS post.

And yeah, it bends all the way back-and-forth
Should you still want pics (just came back from a ride so forgive the dirt):
Not the neatest thing I have ever created but it gets the job done and you don't really notice it unless you're looking for it.
Also installed a new tire the other day as I had a massive puncture. After a massive ride with only 30 meters left until my house and I run over some crap...
The hole was too big to plug (plus I had already gotten 8K out of the thing) so I decided to replace it.
Went down to the stealership and bought a new Michelin Radial Pilot Road 2.
It's a sports touring tire that has a harder seam which should hopefully mean I get a few more km's out of it with my daily commute to and from work.
Have only ridden a few k's on it so far however it feels pretty good. I dare say I have lost a little bit of performance going into corners, but rarely do I get the chance to put my knee down around town so that shouldn't be much of a problem..
Will let you know what I think about it once I have had a chance to test her out.
Bastard! I want that exhaust. If they make it for an 03 I'm all over it
Last I heard he was developing a midpipe for the 05, that was a few months back so he's prob finished by now. I have no idea if 05/06 stuff fits an 03??
The bike looks great. I especially like the carbon fibre inserts in the mid fairing and around the headlights.
Thanks man, I am really happy with them. The inserts for the middle fairings were a giant pain to get in but worth every drop of sweat, and they look fantastic when you have the bike in the sun.
If you want some, check out the links I posted above each piece, Tekarbon have crazy good customer service so send them an email or something.

Thanks for the link; I will certainly keep them in mind. I have also found a UK company that can supply them as well so I may be able to avoid the shipping charges and import/customs tax. The carbon fibre mid fairing inserts are definitely on my 'to do list' although they may have to wait a little while longer as I have some other modifications planned first.
Some new goodies thanks to motomummy to add later this weekend:
Just out of curiosity are you planning on a power commander, a sprocket and chain upgrade as well? Engine case covers? Unless I missed those like a
I really like your build thread and was curious what else you had in mind to put on your bike. I have a black 09 and was looking at some similar upgrades +some you haven't done yet
My buddy had a hyperflo full system on his 03 600rr about 2 years ago, it can be done, but I don't know how. Ever since I heard that system, I knew I must buy a CBR,
Hyper-flo makes your sweet little girl sound like a monster waiting to break out of its cage. Beastly system.

Thanks man, appreciate it.
The hyper-flo system was worth every penny. I love it and it's perhaps my fave thing on the bike :P
When Santa gets me a gopro for Christmas, I will post up a good quality vid for people as good ones are hard to come by on the net.
To be honest, I would only ever get a power commander if I got a new set of headers to go with it.
Sprocket and chain are on the list (along with new brakes and pads/rotors/rims/suspension/slipper), however most I will get only when they need to be replaced or win the lotto.
In the meantime, I'm thinking of getting some new break lines, seat cowl, corbin seat, rear sets, putting a little more CF on it (yoke/gauge), grips, maybe some LED bling like SHAdoh's pretty baby, powder coating anything that looks silver... etc..
It's a progressive thing, so far I have had the bike for about a year and as you can see, there is still a lot to do :P but I like to take my time and shop around for good deals; plus its fun learning about all the different stuff you can do to your bike.
Best of luck with your build mate, be sure to start a build thread when you can :D
