Best place to buy new oem fairings and/or touch up paint PICS
Hey guys, I've read that colorrite.com has a good touch up kit and i've also read that people were disappointed. For the black engine/oil pan/lower fairing all I need is touch up, the scratches are hard to see I'll post a better picture later but I have a picture of the fairing in question. Does honda sell touch up? I want to do a perfect job and make it look like nothing happened, so I don't know if I need clear coat or exactly how I should go about this, I'm not a avid painter so pointers would be appreciated. For the grey upper fairing I'm unsure if touch will fix this or if I need to hunt for fairings, I already posted a WTB thread for fairings in case worst comes to worse.
I just bought the bike and unfortunately the sellers friend messed his bike up. I want to make the bike new again.
Go to your local auto parts store and buy body repair supplies. Auto body is simple as hell almost child's play.. I took auto body back in high school and auto in college.
If you want replacement look up Honda only place I know carries actual OEM.. Every other online shop is after market and is either hit or miss or passes things off as OEM but isn't.
Maybe even hit up your local body shop might be able to do it for you don't pay any more than $30 to $50 tho really simple job.
If its not a issue I'd just leave it honestly unless you can find a replacement ready to go
the first picture looks like the scratch is on top of the clear coat... try a rubbing compound and see how that works... I use a rubbing compound on all scratches first before getting too in depth... it will either get rid of the white marks( like in the first picture) and or will make the scratch less visible...

The first picture is just a far awake picture of the second pic. I'll look into a local auto body shop for the grey fairing, Any advice about scratches and chips on my black lower fairings, the third pic doesn't really show the marks on the black fairing but I will post another pic either tomorrow or tuesday,
I bought a new bike and want it to be new, so honestly I can't leave it be, it irritates the **** out of me to be honest
