Ticket = $235.00
Request for defense driving = $107.00
I got it on a motorcycle and it states on the ticket, that I must take a Motorcycle Operators Training Course (MOTC). Thats the 2 day course to get your license so that means............ = $195.00 (+ 2 days from 8AM-5PM)
I am going to call tomorrow to see if I can get around with just taking a driving safety course.
When its all said it done it will cost around $537.00
I rode with lone star track days a couple months back. They said during the riders safety meeting that they had it worked out with TXDOT to get tickets dismissed with a class and trackday. You may want to look into it.
Dude you must be a terror on the streets your last 4 threads have all been about tickets crashes or something like that.. Take it easy and slow it down.

You're cute, regardless less I have had 2 (this is one of them) tickets in the last 3 months. and I was also messed with by Texas States troopers on two separate occasions. Just wanting to share my experience with everyone. We live and we learn.

It certainly would be a blessing in disguise if you got a trackday out of it, good luck. Is the ticket price what you would usually expect to pay for a trackday?

No way, contact ridesmart at www.ridesmart.info and see if Dave can help you out. Their TD's are 110-140 or so, and first timers get a 50% discount. They do Cresson and Eagles Canyon, both right next to you.

Called the office and got some more info. According to them I do this.
1. pay 235.00 and be done with it and let it go on my rec.
2. pay 107.10 request for drivers safety send in copy of license and insurance. (They said an online defense driving will be ok.) This is great news lol.
3. Deferred that cost like 100 or so more then the ticket. Just don't get in trouble for like 30-90 days then off you're rec.
I am going to do number 2 bc I will be able to send it to insurance and get an updated discount.

wow,
you dont learn do you?
pulled over for the third time now?
and i see your signature link

Wow, someones critical reading skills are lacking.
I wonder how long till someone calls your parents letting them know you need to go back to school. I clearly state the number of tickets I have been issued above, but it seems you are unable to handle the complex math.
Thanks for your concern, keep the rubber side down.

read it a 3rd time and you might figure it out. Now tell me more about whats going on in my life.
That sucks to get a ticket,I got one myself recently too.Cruising into a different city and pulled over practically immediately because the speed limit drops 10mph and I didn't catch the sign....
Just be patient... I have a feeling this wont be his last post about this sort of thing.. His bike, money and life I guess.. Won't have much sympathy when its posted.. Again..

That doesn't seem that bad at all as far as ticket cost. I got a ticket in my car a few months ago. It was 35 months since my last ticket but since it hadn't dropped off my record the ticket was $410 instead of $200. Then I had to pay $75 more to be eligible for traffic school, so tack on about another $100 for that. That was a fun way to blow close to $600.
The ticket was for 84 in a 65. The speed was estimated (I think I was at 80) but in the county I got it, you can only plead not guilty in person and I couldn't make it there to plead not guilty since I had to travel. If I pick up a few more tickets, I don't think the state will have any more budget problems. Don't speed in Ventura County!

I guess it's gone up in a few years. My last ticket was in 2009. 80 in a 70, ticket was $180 I think and traffic school made it $250.
traffic school after a ticket???? wow, last ticket i got (summer 10) all i had to do was pay my fine and be on my way.. 180$ btw... 44 in a 35 MPH zone
