Nice upper! Probably will be one smooth shooting mofo. Is there any reason you are using the BCM comp instead of using another Battlecomp?
Basically I want to try it out and compare it to my Battlecomp. I like the BC, but it looks like the BCM will be a bit more friendly to others shooting next to me, and it looks like it has a more pronounced reduction in flash.
I haven't picked up a lower for this yet, but I think this is gonna be the ticket. Umbrella Corp. lower, marked Virginia Beach, VA too!
This is gonna be the stock. The new B5 Bravo stock. Basically a lighter SOPMOD without the battery storage tubes. Awesome price too!
Anyone got the new xds .45 yet? Really want to get one for my wife for Christmas.
Really want one but can't get it in Cali yet. Have just about all the other XD's
2 weeks ago, left to right 357mag, xdm40service, xd40subcompact OD w/viridian C5L w/ECR, xd45acp tactical OD w/viridian sxd, TRP Operator Full Rail custom 1911, and MP15-22... there was more but no more room on the table.
the TRP is by far the best 1911 I have shot, and the XD45ACP Tactical is most reliable, most accurate polymer... I obviously love the Springers, but really want to try the XDs.
BULL BARRELL is AWESOME and dead nuts accurate. Trigger pull is like butter

Went to the range today to shoot the MK240 and we ended up setting about 20-30 acres on fire with a tracer round. Spent most of the day fighting this fire instead of spending time on the range. Ill upload a few pics and videos later on.

Personally, I like having a lot of percussion on my muzzle brakes - it keeps fumbling idiots who don't practice gun safety away . The PWS on my SCAR is probably the loudest muzzle brake out there and everyone stops what they're doing when it goes off.

I love my two TRP Operators but I have two gripes with them. First is the captive guide rod and the second is I wish they spent just a little bit of time dehorning them before they leave the factory - without gloves, the 20 LPI checkering and sharp edges will do a number to your hands if you use more than a box of ammo.

So is anyone into knives? I started to get into knives after taking a few handgun courses and realized that guns suck for anything within spitting distance. Within 20 feet, it's almost impossible to unholster a gun and get a round off at a charging attacker, well unless you're Wild Bill Hickok haha.
My current setup is a Emerson Combat karambit and my PM9, and I think this is the perfect lightweight combo for the FL weather.

Picked up my newest upper from the armorer today. He shaved down the standard front sight post to fit under the Knights Armament URX III rail and also parkerized it. I inquired about the new BCM compensator, and he said they should have them in stock soon and he put me on the waiting list.
He did an amazing job and turned it around in 4 days. I'm sure he is very busy given the current political climate and the fact the shop he works for is packed every day.
For those in the Northern Virginia area, the man is Robb Jensen (he is staff on m4carbine.net) and the shop is Virginia Arms co.
Specs are:
BCM lightweight 16" midlength upper
BCM BCG
BCM mod 4 charging handle
Knights Armament URX III rail
Knights Armament 200-600 meter micro BUIS
Knights Armament URX panel kit with handstop
Very nice! BCM is top notch!

So I went to the nations gun show yesterday at the Dulles expo and was shocked at what I saw. So many low end rifles with absolute **** gear thrown on them. UTG handguards, Chinese flashlights and optics, bipods, etc. Kinda sad to see people were buying that garbage too by the arm full. I did see some high end stuff, saw some Knights Armament rifles, Daniel Defense, a few Noveske's and some HK gear. Almost all of it was way overpriced. $500 for 1000 rounds of M855 5.56 mm ammo. Sad really.
I did manage to get what I came for though, I was on the hunt for a quality lower parts kit for my new build. There were lots of LPK's in clear bags with no marking on them going for $75 +, but I managed to find a retailer selling sealed Daniel Defense kits for $90, so I snagged 2 of them. One is gonna go in my new lower when it comes in, and the other is gonna be a spare for a future build.
Also just got another BCM BCG since they seem to be getting scarce. I now have 2 extra's as well as a spare BCM bolt and a bunch of other spare parts. Those of you pissed because stuff is always out of stock right now can partially blame me, but I keep seeing the prices going up, so I figured I would get some extra's while it's still somewhat reasonable. Pretty sure I am done for a while getting AR stuff as I am very well stocked up.
Still need to pick up a T1 for the new rifle, and another PRO for my 20" rifle, but that stuff is easy to find so I put it low on my priority list.
I saw the same here in Tucson last month at Crossroads of the West.
Was not impressed at all.
Sad

I'm looking at buying bulk ammo for my .40 S&W and I've found some good websites like bulkammo.com but those are like $270 for like 1000 rounds I believe... My question where do you get your bulk ammo? I was gunna check out a military surplus store, but I wasnt sure if they would ahve .40 or if it would just be rifle ammo... It's all target practice and just shooting for fun no competition so it doesn't have to be top of the line ammo

If you find any better post it up[/QUOTE
Ya those are pretty much the best prices I've seen too... for what I'm shooting like just target practice and stuff I would like to find something a little cheaper but I guess in the long run it's cheaper, also I've seriously thought about trying to reload my own brass

From why I've heard about reloading. The initial coast is high because you have I buy the equipment shells powder and bullets but in the long run its worth it.

ya definitly, maybe I will just start looking for a good used reloader and try to do this on the cheap... for what I do with my pistol i dont need anything top of the line and maybe something that will work with multiple calibers so when i buy other hand guns I can reload all my brass not just one caliber

I have used www.weaponsworld.com for bulk ammo purchases in the past, as well as Brownells and Midway USA. Right now the trick is finding in stock items. I also clean out Walmart regularly as they have some good deals. Each payday just buy a few more boxes and before you know it you're sitting on a pile of ammo.
Anyone know where I can pick up a few Spikes Tactical stripped lowers? All the AR forums are saying they're like 12,000 orders in the hole right now and won't be taking orders till they're filled. Or anyone have suggestions on other milspec lowers I should look into?
anybody know where I can find a Stag Arms 2L for a decent price?? I'm right handed but shoot left handed and I don't really like getting brass or gas thrown in my face like I do with all of my other rifles

Picked up a mint condition Surefire M600A off another forum for $150 shipped. Came with both tail caps and a pressure switch. This thing doesn't even look like it was mounted to a rifle. This is going on my 20" rifle. I also need to pick up another Aimpoint PRO for that rifle and it will be done. Maybe tax time. I need to get the T1 for my new rifle first though.
Yeah. Even if I decide to go with the current 200 lumen head which is available for $105 online, I would still be way ahead compared to buying a new M600C.
