They are much bigger in person then I thought. It's a nice looking phone and I know Nokia is very reliable but I just think they got into the smart phone game a tad to late and it'll take them a while to gain customers.
I'm still waiting on someone I know to get one so I can play around with it and compare.
Too bad phone companies can't let you "test drive" phones before making a decision.

I wanted to address the bold first. AT&T has a month policy on new phones to let you try them. I've never took advantage of it because I honestly research my last few phones a lot before I bought them to now I would be some what happy with them. But it's there for the indecisive folks.
Second, I went this weekend to look at all the new phones from HTC, Apple, Samsung and Nokia since my gf needed a new phone. Visually the phone is great. I agree that it's bigger in person though. I went open minded to check them all out. In my opinion I just didn't like the Windows OS. The over sized widgets and long app drawer home screen just threw me off. The phone was fast and the screen was good. But I think I'm just too used to iOS and Droid style software. I can navigate those phones a lot easier. That's just me.

actually at first it took me some time to get used to, I ddnt like it for the first couple of hours, but thats the thing with all new products, just like the 2013 600rr, its gna take some time to get used to,
however, after 1 day of using the lumia, I held the iPhone 4s again and was going through the menu and that felt soo out dated to me. Im really happy I gave the windows 8 OS a try.
Yes I agree its still a new OS, and there are quite a few bugs and unresolved issues with it, but give it a couple of months and a few software updates and its gna run great
THIS IS A BIG PHONE though, in terms of screen size and resolution, it is amazing, but I am known for having big hands, yet holding the lumia with one hand makes it hard to reach the corner of the screen with my thumb. Hence if you have average to small hands you are gna have to use both. Oh and the phone is annoying in the pocket.

None of the companies have that option up here, in fact were so out of date with cell phones we still get astronomical phone bills, crap coverage and sometimes you get roaming when going to a different city. It's sad really.
