Just curious to see how bad things are in your area. I went by on Monday to see if they had a phone accessory for my gf's new phone and saw 4 tents. One with a couch and generator! Holy hell, I know they have deals but to give up a week of your life for one? Not worth it to me.
I was just struck by how soon they had set up. There were 4 tents in total. That's some serious dedication. I get the people that tent on Thanksgiving, sure. But by Monday? Guess they really want that $200 laptop.

thats what i did it for a few years ago. camped out and had a blast all night. i ended up only buying a game lol
That's what I was referring to in my other post. I get doing it the night before. I just don't understand how someone can piss away a week of their life for deals. Screw that.
I'm always tempted to make a Thanksgiving plate, drive to Bestbuy and park by the curb while I have the heat blasting and letting the aroma of great food spread there way! I do the blackfriday shopping but I won't camp. We have ppl doing it here when its like 20 degrees outside. Can't imagine the ppl up north that do it and its even colder
Yea camping out for that long is retarded maybe they didn't realize if they had the 200$ and worked the four days instead of camping they could of bought it at full price.

I've always thought that the time wasted to get black Friday deals may as well be spent at work. If you aren't missing work then kudos but for me skipping a day of work will usually cost me more than I will save.
i went to best buy last night, no tents. from what i understand though, there's people camping outside now. unless i'm guaranteed the freshest, largest, most expensive home theater system in the universe for $.99, there's no way i'm spending THAT much time in a line. a few years ago, i did stand in line for about 2 hours for a clothing boutique. ended up buying some jeans. dumb.
now the thanksgiving tradition is to hit up the international auto show in sf after dinner.

a bunch of guys from a group im in went out riding from ~12am-6am this morning

Top this .... At my Walmart. They have big pallets of the things on sale. Ppl are standing inside with their hands on them so no one can get it. Some even have sleeping bags on the floors ready to sleep if they have to. I walk by them and start making fun of them.. They can't do nothing they don't want to take their hands off lol. SO FUNNY. I told one guy. Hmm so what r u gonna do today.... He said stay here... I said that's weird. Cuz ima go ride my 600rr on this beautiful day... Well sucks for you cya. HAHAH
