It's just a different way of oxygenating the blood(pre-oxygenated static apnea), doesn't look like there is a separate record(at least not on guiness).

Sorry y'all, been crazy the passed few days.

I consider it cheating due to the fact that he self induces a state of apnea.

If you can't do it when it counts than why do it? I started practicing after a few close calls sub surface.

As far as testing the envelope and seeing what the body is actually capable of, ok, fine, cheat with oxygen. It shouldn't be on the same level as using the surrounding air.

For those thinking 2 mins is easy....try it right there on your couch. You may get 40-60 secs comfortably. ;-). You'll start to really feel it at a min 30.
