Rim tape is and always will be the best bang for the buck mod you can do to your bike imo. Def makes the wheels pop! i picked up the Progrip ones which look very similar to the ones you posted OP.

Do cops bother any of you about reflective tape? I've been looking them up, and now I'm really thinking about doing it, particularly in white...
Ps. I'm a big fan of Tron lol

I've heard that if you lightly spray soapy water on the rims it allows you to adjust the tape to where you want it. Then squeegee the water out from under the tape and dry it. Good luck

Wouldn't think they would bug you about it. Its reflective and adds visibility. If they do give you crap for it then tell them to remove the stickers from their squad since they are reflective as well

god i should hope not, i really dont ride at night to be honest but how could they bother you for something that makes you more visible, they would be way more inclined to stop you for your plate being bent all the way back or tucked in above the hugger area imo

Im telling ya the little rim tape applicator that came with the progrip ones i fine helped me a lot. Clean rim well before hand of course, take your time applying pressure to the rim edge while moving the applicator along. Worked for me anyway :)

I love my rim tape! For $15 it completely changes the look of the wheels.
I used the pro grip tape. It comes with an applicator tool. It's also reflective which is good at night.

After I get the rest of my tape put on tomorrow I'll have an applicator that I wouldn't mind sending to someone if they needed it... there's also a howto on this forum somewhere that shows how to make one yourself.

A slash cut exhaust with some shweet flip flops are squidish. Nicely applied rim tape is not.

not sure if anyone mentioned, but if u can and have the time, it's a sh!t lot easier to do with the wheel of the bike.... and take, take, take ur time, just like stomp grips, u need to be patient and it will turn out great...

I can't see that happening unless the person changing your tires is a complete imbecile.

Well, job done. Looks pretty good I think. Application was a bit tricky, and Iḿ sure ill do a better job next time, but it will do for now. Bang for buck its a super cheap mod, cost me about £5 ($8)..

nice touch on the red fairing bolts, and I'm also thinking HRC type rear brake reservoir

thanks. you wouldn't be a fan of the other side then. red up front, white in the rear. lol.

pretty much the HRC kit, except with tygon tubing instead of the Honda green tube. I've shortened it since I took this pic however.

Well this gives me a reason to post a pic of my bike too.

I keep going back and forth between liking the wheel tape and not liking it.
