So last year I fought off the urge for a new car. I went on test drives and yet successfully fought the bug. This year I seem to be going through it again. My car is in perfect shape with 108,000 miles. It is almost 8 years old and still going strong. Its really almost like new because I baby it.
Anyway, I test drive a 2013 Range Rover Evoque at 1:00 today. I know that SUV is very polarizing (people either love them or hate them). I hope I can fight back the urge again!

I've been blessed. A combination of hard work (a lot of it!) and a smidge of luck gave me a successful career. It's been at the expense of a personal life sometimes, but I do enjoy what I do. Unfortunately I'm also cheap, so I don't always enjoy the fruits of my labors. I worry too much about the future, my retirement, etc. Odds are 50/50 that I go through with it.
I test drove Corvettes last year and resisted the urge to buy then.

I took the test drive. Did some negotiating. And walked out the door.

looks like it will run approx 100K :P a tad rich for my blood :( hoping to get a new Santa Fe next year though lol
100k is only for that Victoria Beckham special. Which really has nothing that makes it worth 100k in my opinion. The regular ones run from 45-60k approximately depending on which trim you choose and how many options you want.

The new car fever has passed. I thought about it more and can't drop the hammer. I can't justify spending the money. Being cheap is a mixed blessing, ha. I'll keep the ole' Hummer for now. She's getting older but she is reliable and faithful.
