The lid arrived today (talk about fast processing/shipping service)! :)
The Bell Star RSD Black Beauty Carbon looks great in person and feels very light (feels similar to my HJC RPS-10 in terms of weight maybe?). Still think the Shark RSR2 is the lightest among my lid collection, but this Bell is right up there in the "lightweight" category.
The helmet carry bag that Bell includes with these lids is wonderful, much better than the standard "bag" that users typically receive with a helmet from other manufacturers. It's a nice touch by Bell IMHO.
I haven't ridden in it yet thanks to our cold Michigan weather but at some point I'll update with a ride review as well, provided we don't get hit with snow/ice in the near future.
Here's a few crude pics:

Paul, do yourself a favor and wait for Moe's feedback and go try a pair on before you order. Maybe wait until the bike show and see if a vendor has a pair their to try on. I wear an XL in Alpinestars, an XXL in RSTaichi, a medium in Teknic, and when I tried Shane's Handriods they fit perfect, and I believe they were a medium. Just a tip.
Thanks Chad he forgot that RS TAICHi gloves run small so buying an XL just like I did should mean that a Large Handroid should fit me and him well but like you stated waiting till I try them on myself them give him a feed back & that would make the decision making so much easier .
I bought them cause the deal with outstanding and I wanted to check them out since no local stores carry them . I won't loose much if they do not fit me like i want or if I don't like them and decide to sell them and in that case he is more than welcome to buy them for what I paid or even trade me for his EVO .
I love them gloves and would not mind having a second pair just like I have a used WRX and a brand new WRX in XL that I might sell once I decide which gloves I am keeping as back up
