Long exposure and a sparkler. Look above the gas tank and the tail, you can see his face as he was moving the sparkler, tracing his bike.

good eye. i didnt even notice that

you can see where an amber fell from the sparkler on the rear seat and burnt it. oops. this was literally my first attempt doing this so ill perfect it at some point

Haha, that sucks. I was practicing these types of pics with my gf but I was using a flashlight. Don't think she would be down for me using a sparkler around her. lol

just gotta ask nicely. my friend was scared to do wool spinning and now shes addicted and wants to go again. the sparks are so small you cant really get hurt from them. the hard part is having sparklers before/after the 4th. and staying still for the full exposure
