Thanks for sharing that. At times I was a big fan of the breath of fresh air he brought to MotoGP, at other times he was reckless. No doubt he caused problems for other riders, but he was what the sport needed and gave it new life. It's sad that his was lost so soon. Loved the note on him bucking the tattoo trend and expressing his own personality instead of somebody else's.
Thx for sharing that, i often wonder how he would of done this year? sadly we will never know; he was def off to bigger and better things imo. He was one of a kind that's for sure crazy hair and all :)
I especially liked this one sentence which I think summed up why Simoncelli had such a quickly growing fan base...

Simoncelli could have just adapted to the standard image that so many of the top riders seem to cultivate and probably gone on to be really famous. He could have played at being a nut case just for the attention. Instead he was simply himself and that was even better.
