True, you guys had a rough first 5 weeks. Probably from the short ended playoff run and the kinks that go with it. But now you guys are looking like a SB bound team again.
I was so sure Coach would say Smith is our guy and keep the media at bay. Even if that's not true, at least keep the media from guessing what you meant. The worst part of this is it's more like the case was in Arizona where both QBs shown they can win. But one got more style points doing it. It's hard to not look at Kapernick. The guy opened up Vernon Davis more in one game than Smith has done so far this year. As good as Crabtree is, Davis and Gore are the stars on offense. These guys spread out the D and enable Moss, Hunter, Manningham, etc to get open. But it only works when you use them both.
Few surprises this weekend. Kapernick solidified his position as a starter. Chargers are just giving away wins to their opponents. Giants slump might be over. Packers had a reality check late in the season. Chicago proves Cutler makes the difference.
I'm still not sold on Atlanta. Few games this season where teams pushed them to the limits. You can get away with that with under 500 teams but the better teams in the NFC will punish them. They might end up like the Packers did two years ago. Houston however might end up in the AFC conference game against either the Ravens or a surprise Broncos. As for the NFC, of course I'm biased with my Niners returning. That other team though I have no clue.
That was the best tasting thanksgiving dinner ever. Thanks skins.
Atlanta does this every year, they will take a fat dump in the playoffs as usual.
Giants are hot, but we have been doing great against them in the Shanahan era. We swept them last year before they won the superbowl and Eli's touchdown in the last seconds of this years first game make for a great Monday night game against them next week.
Finally got fkin Piere Garcon back. 6 games was too much.

Hopefully my Niners can actually beat the Rams this go around instead of a tie. I just hope the QB battle will be out of the headlines soon. It's getting distracting for players I'm sure. Media is almost forgetting we're setup for the number 2 seed and a first round bye for the second year in a row.

It's not going to happen. People love drama, and your coach created it.

So you NFL experts...fill me in because I seem to have a differing opinion then most the commentators an other Dallas Cowboy fans I know:
I wanted NYG to win this past MNF because:
1) We are not a division leader team
2) We would still be ahead of the Skins but behind the Seahawks by 1 game for the Wildcard
3) Dallas plays terrible in December
4) If I had to choose which teams would fall apart between NYG, Skins, Seattle...it would be Seattle.
Why is everyone saying the opposite? That it was good for the Skins to win? What were the 2 scenerios?
Thx!

Haven't posted here in a while. I can't believe the Rams game went to OT again a couple weeks back. Akers twice lost us those games. He used to be so automatic. Oh well, we have the Patriots this weekend and I'm nervous after they destroyed the "best" team in the NFL. My only hope is we can get to Brady early and also stop the run. That's asking a lot though considering it's the Pats in Dec.

We (49ers) are more diverse than the Texans. They have Foster, we have Gore, James and Kaep... Texans have Johnson, we have Moss and Crabs... (Which isn't saying too much, but Crabs is getting better every week)... And we have an awesome D-line along with arguably the best Linebackers in the league to pressure the Patriot Tight Ends and Brady... It should be an awesome game...
I do think that Welker will run all over Rogers though... That one worries me some.
Great job by the Niners tonight... Thanks for letting me cash in!!!
Pats looked to impressive last week so everyone jumped on them except me.
Go Niners!!!!!!
