Hm...I'll try mounting it to the frame. I could see how that would work. Will give it a shot in the Spring!

Got to take some better pics since it was raining yesterday

When I got the bike

I would keep the tail white, but if did paint your tail black I would try something like a reverse of the Euro white tail.

Black tail with a white or silver sticker on the cowl like the euro version. Might look kinda nice and flow with the bike.

Look what I scored for $40!...a black cowl in "good" condition, relatively speaking

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-HONDA-C...vip=true&rt=nc

Auction started at $25 and I got it for $27 plus shipping. Win?! I'm not even concerned with that little rash on the left hand side. I have some VERY close matching touch up paint that'll be applied once that area is sanded down.

And something else that caught me by surpsie...Arai RX-Q gifted to me by my gf and my buddy. My very first Arai! I have a Shoei RF1100 as well, but it's nice to finally have an Arai :). It's funny because I was in talks with Jason from STG about buying this, but my gf and buddy were in talks with him all along trying to surprise me. He would have told me it was sold out once I was ready to buy, so that I don't end up getting 2 Arai's ha. So shout out to Jason!

This brightened up my day...a day where I spent 7 hours applying to jobs yet again

took off the silver wheel tape and put the white on. Looks so much better in my opinion. The silver tape looked too bland

Ha...I miss the old blue/silver bike (the way I had inset up with the silver lowers). I actually like that look a tad more than this

Well I ended up getting extremely lucky and scored one of the last Leo Vince old style exhausts. It's the 7736. Now the LV exhausts are ugly and stick out way past the tail. I had this on my last 600rr and it was my favorite. The jardine will be sold.

Nice helmet! I wore an RF-1100, too. It started feeling loose so I went to try one on in a smaller size. Turns out they don't fit my head shape - there was pressure along the mid-sides. Same for the X-Twelve.

Tried on some Arais, they fit very well, bought some Arais. lol

And congratulations on the new job!

Thanks guys and thanks lux for the job wishes!

Leo is on. I was having issues with an exhaust leak by the clamp area where the slipon goes over the stock header pipe. I used RTV paste too and the leak was still there. I played around with the clamp and didn't make it as tight and so far there's no leak. I'm going to check back after a few ride cycles. I'm crossing my fingers that's it's gone now. On to the peekchars

REALLY??? For the amount that you sell your bikes, buy new parts, install them, and then resell them...you should deff work for Honda...I'm just saying. Congrats man, maybe I'll actually get to see this one. What dealership is that? Looks like Cross Bay Motor Sports in Bayshore, I was just there today.

Wow just noticed. RedlinerNYC you live in Bayside. So do I, I have a feeling I might have seen you around and when Scooter71 mentioned cross bay I'm like hold up that's in queens. Lol, anyways maybe when it starts warming up we can get a few people to hang out and ride. New bike looks good by the way can't wait to see more picks of your new baby when you pick it up.

Hey man. I actually went to the Crossbay in Bayshore since the Howard Beach location is under repairs from hurricane Sandy. Thanks and we'll definitely ride this season!

I'm maxed out for mod money (paid the bike outright) so no mods this year. I'll just do a fender eliminator and wheel stripes.
