Way to answer the REAL question.
I use jack3d. The first pre workout I ever used was super pump 250. Then I went to 1MR. I found 1MR started giving me anxiety and paranoia throughout the day after my workout. Or it would keep me up late. Also tasted pretty bad. I stopped using pre workouts for a while. Then started using jack3d. Then switched to friction. Again, anxiety and paranoia. Then I switched back to jack3ed. No anxiety, no paranoia. So I just take a scoop before every workout.
Really I don't think it actually gives me much energy. It's all mental I'd say. If I don't take it I just don't focus in the gym and feel weak. So even though I feel it does nothing, if I take it it's like the placebo effect. All mental. I'll eventually stop taking pre workouts though. But i do wanna switch back to super pump 250 before I do that and see how it compares.

I used to grab some energy drink or power bar of some sort before walking in when I was in my 20's. I felt it was nessecary.
Somewhere, overtime that disappeared and now, (don't laugh) I'll take a little hit of weed before gym now and that gets me more into a tingly muscle, euphoric feeling when your blood is pumping hard.
My point is........ I forgot, I don't remember the point I was trying to make.

Not sure why people think they need anything more than a hit of Whey for their pre-workout. Unless you're like over 35, then I hear some Horney Goat Weed will get those juices flowing for you
If it's energy that your after, eat an apple and some ready mix porridge (oatmeal) 30 min before you hit the gym, both contain slow release sugars/carbohydrates and will keep you going for an hour or so.
You should keep it as natural as possible, your body will thank you for it, but, like always, you can do what ever the F**K YOU WANT!

this i drink a glass of whey and eat an apple & banana before hand. and a recovery shake after. the least amount of toxins i can put in my body the better

Mm I'm gonna try the apple or banana and oatmeal before a workout. I can definitely appreciate and understand the importance of putting less toxins in my body.
^ so true, and unfortunately thats usually when I start hitting the gym hard again, after slacking over the holidays.
Ive been missing out on my workouts for 5 months now and Ive shrunk bigtime. Been eating healthy though so Im still pretty lean, just not cut :(

Do you know what Michael Jordan treated himself to before a game? Steak and Potato 3 hours beforehand. Obviously if you plan on working out in the gym in the morning that won't work but it sure as hell would provide you with ample amounts of energy throughout the workout.

I only know my diet is right when I take a crap three times a day. However, it should come out in a solid form that is well shaped and light in color, has no odor, and doesnt stain (gets flushed easy). U shouldnt be having a diarrhea nor should it be hard to release. I also watch my urine as to make sure it is almost water clear.
Ohh also, u knw ur diet is right when ur fart has no smell (almost).
if u r uncomfortable when doing ur thing in the bathroom, then smthn in ur diet is wrong, maybe u rnt having enough water, maybe ur diet isnt balanced (lacks some fibres/vitamins etc..).

i eat all fruits / veggies / chicken / protein shakes. and im going a bunch of times a day. but its quite the opposite of not smelling. thats where i was wondering if body ever gets used to it. since....i stink. so what am i doing wrong then!? im about to go on a cruise and share a room with a friend..she wont be happy with me if im stinkin it up all weekend
urine is always clear since im at 100+ozs a day of water. and thats pretty much the only liquid i drink
