I seldom play more than one game at a time. I play mainly shooters. Xbox, PC, leisurely, clan competitions, all of it.
So I'm really torn. I love the Halo franchise; one of my favorite games of all time. But I feel like that's going to be something I enjoy for the campaign, and not so much the multiplayer. The COD campaigns are alright, but nothing special (Battlefield 3 FTW) but their online multiplayer gameplay is legit.
Do I get them both and enjoy Halo 4 for the campaign and then play Black Ops 2 campaign and multiplayer? I've played Halo 1, 2, 3, and ODST, and loved them all.
It's a time issue really, I'm sure I'll enjoy both games, but I don't know if I have time for that sort of shenanigans.
Maybe I can hop on BO2 asap and revisit Halo 4 at a later time? That doesn't sound as feasible to me though. I think I'm gonna get both games, knock the Halo 4 campaign out, and then start puttin in work with BO2?
I've followed halo since halo 1 so I probably be getting halo 4. The only CoD I really got into was MW3. My cousin will probably buy it though and ill just borrow it from him.

If you are short on time, I'd just get one for the time being. One of those two games (prob CoD) will be on sale around December for Christmas. They do it every year....a good 2-3 games will be $10-20 off. But check out Gameinformer.com they had an article about Halo. If you have an American Express Card and link it to your Xbox account they will pay you for playing Halo. Right when you link it you get $10. Then win you beat the campaign on normal or hard you get another $25 credit. So basically they pay you $35 to buy/play their $60 game.

I am really looking forward to Halo 4 as the others were awesome, well ODST was kind of a let down, but still good.

BO was a horrible game, but was only saved by zombies. I won't be playing the mp on BO2 and just getting it for zombies. BF3 is for mp IMO.

Well I have both of these games and all I can say is overall Halo 4 is much better for all of its game modes. BO2 multiplayer is still not very good. The graphics are better and the play feels a little smoother, but it still isn't as good as MW3. But the new zombies is well worth buying the game and the only reason I will keep it. Halo 4 is just great all around and I play all the different modes. If only BO2 was that good, but I wasn't expecting a good multiplayer game out of it.
Got the BO2 season pass, Halo 4 map pack, and GTAV pre-order today. Can't wait to swing by Fry's tonight, pick up a 32GB flash drive (xbox now reads up to 32GB vs the previous 16GB limit), pick up my BO2 from Gamestop, and have at it!
I have both, I'll say this though.. I bought BO2 first and palyed all of 10 minutes into it and didnt like it.. reminded me too much of the other COD's. So my girl went and bought me Halo 4. If you love halo as much as I do then you will enjoy 4! The story line is on the short side but VERY VERY good! The ending (if you have followed all of the halos) made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.. it was a great culmination to the franchise. Once I finished Halo4 I went back to black ops and I was sorry I had the reservations I had with it initially. The story was good and the fact that decisions you make effect the ending is a great new addition to the franchise.. Online play I have always favored the COD platform moreso than that of halo just because of the characteristics, but on that note.. once I played Battlefield 3 my COD days were over... If your deciding based off of the main campane then I would say Halo first then COD. Either way its a win in my books.
Beat the campaign on heroic now I'm about half way though legendary. My Xbox live is expired so I can't play online yet. But I'll probably get it in the next few weeks.
