My plate falls into the correct guide lines for the law. It must be visible from 30ft away. I can read my plate from over 50ft away and I don't have perfect vision. Wearing ear buds while riding isn't stupid. Wind noise is loud and damaging to the ear, a lot of people wear ear plugs while riding.
Ear buds =/= Ear plugs . Your argument is invalid.
I don't know the law for your state but I'd be willing to bet that the law also states the angle of which the plate must be positioned as well as that it must be mounted in a position behind the rear axle.
Looks like a whole lotta nothing. I don't know why you can't ride with earbuds in. Might not be the smartest thing but no worse of a distraction than having a stereo cranked in a car.
I dont see massive issues with it, but simply the fact your GPS shows you over the limit will cause you grief.
In the UK you can be profoundly deaf and drive, so the earbuds thing is a non issue over hear. I prefer ear plugs, but sometimes ride with noise isolating earphones, and due to the fact they are basically like earplugs, the volume can be low, so you can still hear and listen.
If the undertaking is ok where you are, id imagine you will still get stung in court for the speeding...you cant get out of that one. Is it worth the hassle?

But you were, and as people say, it looks like you are..... plus if you with hold evidence, and they stumble on this page, the judge no be happy, and you could come a lot worse off.

one the video may not be admissible in court, its their rules and what they want to include,
you said you argued with her about what? what did you say? were you rude or degrading? this may come up as they may have dash cam video of the argument if you were an ass, then it may come back to hurt you in court, remember the judge is ruling if he deems your actions careless then they are, you have given jurisdiction to them by entering the court, remember that,
you could easily get a lawyer and possibly get it dimissed but the lawyer will charge you more than the ticket, haha, in common law they have no infraction on you, but go ahead and try to assert that in todays court system,
I would suggest you go to the court house before your date and contest it, if it isnt "in the computer" get the name of the clerk and file an affidavit, then hit court and plead not guilty, pray for the best,
in court you have no ground to stand on, its their way thats the way it is, sometimes you will get a human judge who will rule with common sense, most of the time your will get a executive administrator who is just there to write fines for the system,
good luck,
remember folks, when being pulled over SAY NOTHING!! as
ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN A COURT OF LAW (NOT FOR YOU)
The stuff the lady and I argued about wasn't related to this case, it was related to the domestic violence thing. I know not to say anything, i've been down this road with fighting things in court before. The judge who I would go before has actually known me since I was very very little. Me and his daughter are good friends and he works directly with my mother. I've sat in on some of his court things in the past and I have gone before him before(Curfew ticket when I was younger).

Exactly... I hate being around people, that's why I try to lead the pack or be at the end of the pack.

I think your ticket is a little harsh for how you were driving.
A few harsh reality in my opinion.
* Aftermarket exhaust doesn't help. Also it illegal in most states. It makes you look like you accelerate faster than you actual do.
* " I moved back over and sped up to 45" You said speed limit was 40. Even a little over speed is still over the speed limit. I know it is not a big deal but it is over the speed limit.
* "But she came over anyways and her and I argued a bunch and she got mad and told the other officer to write me everything(Tucked plate, riding with ear buds in, careless driving)." Never argue.
* "Yes my license plate is tucked(Only because my new fender eliminator hasn't come yet)."
Only because is not excusable.
In the end I think you arguing with the officer got you the ticket.

I didn't start to argue until after I knew I was getting a ticket.
LOL do a pop a wheelie. Yea they kind of seemed like they just wanted to be ignorant. But it's probably not smart to speed up and jump around two cars like that right after you pass a cop and how the hell could they have known how fast you were going especially with a tow truck in front of them.

Are you seriously even questioning why you got pulled over? It looked bad enough without the audio. Now beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'd pull your dumb ass over too.
The more I watch your video, the more I am amazed at how you are shocked at the fact that you got lit up. You sped up from ~35 to at least 65 in a matter of seconds. Right in front of a cop! LOL! Eat the ticket, you earned it.

People like you crack me up. Haha. Thank you for entertaining me while i'm at work.
I cut the video up because im sure you guys didn't want to watch 10 minutes of wind noisy driving in a straight line and 20 minutes of me sitting there on my bike texting on my phone. Ha

Oh figured you cut it up because you didn't want us to see how you passed those other two vehicles

I don't see how me passing them is relevant to anything else? Haha but if you must know the truck in front of me turned left up ahead and I passed the car to my right before moving over.
I think people are starting to get the wrong idea here. Im not opposed to getting a ticket. But write me a ticket for something I did. If I accelerated too quickly then write me a ticket for Exhibition of Speed. If I was speeding then write me a speeding ticket. If I made a bad lane change then write me a ticket for Improper Lane Change. If I made a bad pass then a ticket for Improper Passing would suffice. I wasn't being "careless". Another thing that pisses me off is dont lie. The male cop who made the initial traffic stop was incorrect by saying he saw me coming down the hill. Not to mention you can clearly hear me decelerate.
