Yea. I think rizoma makes a locking cap that you have a special little key that they supply. But they are expensive.

Sweet gas cap. My only recommendation is to paint that mid fairing from silver!

It's funny you say that because I'm a bodyshop estimator and I could get them done at work for next to nothing. It's crossed my mind but then I also like the cleanliness of the stock paint scheme. I'll probably pick up some used oem mids and paint them that way I have two sets of mids.

I wouldn't mind some black sprocket nuts. I love the gas cap. IMO it's worth every penny. The rear sets are amazing!! I went for a ride yesterday and they fell awesome!! I kept playing with the shift knuckle and got it just right. Bike shifts faster and smoother than it did stock.

I never ride 2up and ill be taking my rear pegs off as soon as I install the small clear tube to replace the rear brake reservoir. As far as the rear sub frame goes I'd like to get it pc'd but for now ill do some flat black decal overlays. Btw thanks for all the props.

Question about the Evo cap, maybe MM can answer this better, why some in "five" star design and some in "seven"?

That's a hot bike. Really digging the rear sets and exposed mid pipe. Waiting on pics without rear pegs

Super clean as others mentioned. I will definitely try removing part of the heat shield to expose the midpipe like you did; any trouble with heat bothering your leg though? Please elaborate why the gas cap is worth every penny; are you not concerned about anyone being able to open the fuel tank. Pranksters do still exist you know and with a bike that clean looking, make no mistake, you become much more of an appealing target.

The designs are different as it depends on the model, their bolt pattern, shape of the tanks under the cap, etc.

All of my heat shields are removed and I don't feel any excess heat coming from the exhaust. I believe the plastic cover is more or less there to cover up the metal heat shield so it looks better. With the heat shields removed there's really no point in having the plastic cover. So I removed it to expose the mid pipe. I think it looks good.

The gas cap is worth every penny because it not only serves a very useful purpose but it also looks amazing (as you can tell from people's reactions). I'm not worried about people vandalizing my bike because it never leaves my sight. I keep it locked up in my garage unless I'm out riding it. I mostly ride on the weekends and if I have to park it at a restaurant or what not I always keep it within sight. Plus I have insurance on it and every single mod is listed on the policy.
