solid turn signals

i just installed front and rear flush mounts but when i turn them on they stay solid? do i need resistors? if so how and where do i install them

i bought 2 20 watt 8 ohm resistors. how do i install them?

Wire one side to the positive and the other side to the negative. This will create a load on the circuit. If you want to do this once and be done with it. Do this.
