There are many oil change interval threads out there, but I couldnt' find one about this specific oil. So here goes.
How many miles and/or months should I go between oil changes with Redline Racing full synthetic Motorcycle oil 10w30?
I have been doing it every 12 months or 3500 miles (I live in the midwest).
After some research, redline's website says 7500 miles. I called their customer support and the guy said every 12 months or 10-12,000 miles. I called my local stealership and the technician said every 12 month or 5-8,000 miles.
Who should I believe?
It is a city bike, and doesn't see the track.

It's more about when you want to change it. The manufacture isnt going to tell you the wrong amount of miles or months the site says 7500 so change it then or before. Personally I change mine at 3000 two of my buddies who are brothers change theirs every 1000 miles on their r6's. Everyone's got there own personal preference

what should you believe ...
You should believe neither .. neither the MFG or your dealer know the health of your engine,
if you want the definitive answer, send samples from each of your changes to a reputable oil analasys place, like blackstone
for a decent price, they will anaylize your results, and tell you their findings, with suggestions of what your motor and your selection of oil and filter can handle.
after a few changes you will start on your way to maximum interval oil changing
oh, and they keep track of your previous samples, so they can help you monitor the actual health of your engine.
