Oh sweet you got my pics up. Good stuff! As for rear visibility I don't have any problems, they are just a bit smaller than stock, but not by much. I would recommend them indefinitely.
I like the way you handled the wiring.....Crazee.
I'm thinking just drill straight through the mount and the fairing at the same time....is that the way you did it ?
Thanks,
I had to drill the mounts separately with a drill press, the hand drill will not penetrate the mounts. Drill the holes on he upper portion of the mounts first. Once the mounts are drilled line up the mounts with fairing then mark and drill the holes on the fairing. After that you just gota run the lines through the holes and wire it up. E Z breezy.

crazEboy333, where did you run the wires on the back side of the upper cowl. reason i'm wondering is because it would bug the hell out of me if i was looking at the wiring on the backside of the upper cowl the whole time i'm riding.
Running the wiring is nothing. Put it in a sheath, loosen the fairing tuck it in.
Losing the mouse ear turn signals....and cleaning up the front of the bike is what it's all about.....
where did you get them from?? how much were they?? pictures of the installation?? great job...kudos to you man

The Good:
They look so freaking sweet on our 600rr's
there is little to no vibration on these mirrors
Drops right in with our stock mounts
Integrated turn signal
Nice finish
The Bad:
I don't really have any complaints, Only thing is they are a little steep, but you cant put a price on quality. Totally worth it! Also The mirrors are a little smaller than the stockers, but they get the job done you just gota find that sweet spot.
The Ugly:
There aint nothing ugly about these mirrors! I cant upload pics else I would show ya!
I just bought these. Drilled through the mounting plates with a hand drill with no problems. Just use a smaller drill bit and work your way to a larger one. Getting ready to drill into the fairings, but before i do that does anyone have pictures of how they tucked in the wires? Any pictures of the backside of the front fairing?
they are shown on the first page of this thread. anyone have any info/input?
At $40, I can't really see you going wrong. Mine are all faded and ****, show rub marks and what not. One question I did have though, do these swivel? I didn't see anything in the ebay ad about it specifically and they look like they do but was just curious if anyone else could comment.
You have to drill the front fairing yes, but it will be under the portion of the mirror base. I have plans, I'll keep you posted. Here's my idea stolen from Rhino8123's 05 Build.
And I believe they do swivel, I'll confirm in a week or so upon arrival.

Looks like you have to drill through the fairing for the wires. No thanks
True, but there are already 2 holes drilled through the fairing for the screws that hold the mirrors in place and the third goes between them underneath the base, remaining invisible with these mirrors or standard ones if you switch back.

I don't think those are set up right. Looks like a hole was punched through the base to thread the wire back through, but it should just go straight down through the base. I have the Barracuda signal mirrors and that's how it works with mine. They came with a hole already in this position, but the point of it is if you don't want to drill the extra hole in the fairing, you can send the wire through that hole around the outside.
Here are a couple of pics - I like these a lot, but some people don't like the shape or the fact that they are so small. First pic is very large, but shows how the mirrors look and the little hole in the side.
if you like integrated mirrors, check these out..they're affordable and looks ok...this is mine i got from ebay a long time ago for about 55 bucks. it's has only two wires as well, but i wired it up as running as well.
not sure if you have the same problem but from like 3-7k my mirrors vibrate so much that they become useless. any recommendations?

Look for a horizontal bolt or screw at the end of the arm where it attaches to the base. If you look at the large pic I put above, you can see it above the hole where the wire can be fed through. Mine were a little loose, which is what was causing the vibration. Tightening that fixed it. Looking at yours, it might be that allen bolt facing up from the base.
