meh... you've hardly got a brand new bike though. In the 6 years since yours was made, your forks are probably nothing like the ones currently being used (aside from how they look).
Don't get too worked up about it though, the RR's still the best 600 out there
But even with those USD forks, you've gotta admit that Reide181's does look nicer...

I believe the new suspension industry changer will be carbon fiber springs.
Then all hydraulic and steel springs would be truly ancient.
