Actually...flat black looks pretty good too b/c it provides some contrast on a gloss black bike...I found this online
Very nice, I like flat black. The contrast is key. I think if I can find matte black, or maybe someone that will swap the 09 dark graphite mids for my silvers I would be all over that! Especially with the CF accent parts I have, and plan on getting.

Be careful with all the carbon stuff, too much can be too tacky.
Simplicity is key.
Thanks,
I agree 100%, that's why I'm choosing to do only the accent pieces and no full fairing pieces. The windscreen is the largest piece I'm looking to put on the bike. I had the notion that too much CF would be tacky last night too, and I kept comtemplating if the windscreen is going to look good.. time will tell.

Such a weird day today, but I got contacted by RevZilla and they informed me that I was considered in the top 20 for the motorcycle haiku during week 5 of the ZLA contest.
Here's the screenshot..
I didn't win, but the winner, Charlie got $750 in Shoei products. Support these guys for doing such a cool thing for the riding community.

So I just learned a valuable lesson, which hopefully you guys can take advantage of as well.
The lesson here is to always carry a kickstand pad if you are in a hot environment. Just ask people who live in Arizona and Texas.

Thank you for purchasing a 600rr as your first bike.
The odds are strong that you will successfully add to our classified section and help lower parts prices
Hey guys, it's been a while. The winter is over and I'm finally getting my bike out this weekend. Ran into some extra cash so I said fffffffff it and got a few parts. Big shout out to TST for hooking me up.

Also managed to install my no-cut frame sliders. Sorry for the horrible pics lol I need a camera so bad...
Attempted wrapping the subframe without removing it.. as you can see my step by step progress to make a template and then apply it. Needs some tweaking and I ran out of light.
Cardboard template
Transposed on CF vinyl backing
Outcome
Needs some work, not 100% pleased but it's a great starting point and my first time doing this. C&C welcome
Again, I ran out of light and just want to see what it would look like overall. I think if I spend a little more time at it I can have that subframe looking real good.
CF windscreen and mid inserts, new mid fairing/upper mid, speedoDRD, and led mirrors should be on this week(end).
