Might want to contact Pitbull to make sure you have the right pin. I dont see a pin # listed for the '11 on their site.

did you resolve this? I have a standard pin and #1 adapter (I have the stand that I bought 10 years ago for my F4i so I am guessing that is the size), I guess I need a #6 pin? With my current setup I see the stand touch the cowl just like you observed...

I actually did. the pin that the dealer suggested was the right pin. I think it is a #6 I forget. Need to go look. Just a few hose lines were getting in the way at first and the pin wasn't going in all the way so it was hitting the front cowl. On the stands now actually with no problems.

unfortunately I can't get my Pitbull forklift stand to work with either my 600RR or my 1000RR, on both bikes the cowl seems to touch. I'm pretty sure I am using the standard pin with #1 adapter, I will have to call Pitbull to find out what is going on.

I saw the same. I'm looking for a head lift stand and was browsing Revzilla. Their Pitbull head lift for 07-13 600RR calls for a #6.
