nice!

Actually...flat black looks pretty good too b/c it provides some contrast on a gloss black bike...I found this online

Very nice, I like flat black. The contrast is key. I think if I can find matte black, or maybe someone that will swap the 09 dark graphite mids for my silvers I would be all over that! Especially with the CF accent parts I have, and plan on getting.

So I just learned a valuable lesson, which hopefully you guys can take advantage of as well.

SKUR offers all three CF pieces (gauge cover, triple cover, and gas cap cover) on his website: http://www.skurccf.com/

He also offers free shipping on orders over $50.01 and all prices on the website are 10% less then ebay. Doh! Spread the word people!!

Thanks! I can't take the credit because it was my friends garage, and his bikes as well!

Do you see that gold chain hanging from the ceiling? Let's just say Mr. T is missing some jewelry... ;)

Your project is coming along nicely...

Be careful with all the carbon stuff, too much can be too tacky.
Simplicity is key.

Thanks,
I agree 100%, that's why I'm choosing to do only the accent pieces and no full fairing pieces. The windscreen is the largest piece I'm looking to put on the bike. I had the notion that too much CF would be tacky last night too, and I kept comtemplating if the windscreen is going to look good.. time will tell.

Thanks JWRusk, I'm a huge fan of your bike. Have you decided on 600rr vs 1krr yet?

Awesome.

Such a weird day today, but I got contacted by RevZilla and they informed me that I was considered in the top 20 for the motorcycle haiku during week 5 of the ZLA contest.

Here's the screenshot..

I didn't win, but the winner, Charlie got $750 in Shoei products. Support these guys for doing such a cool thing for the riding community.

Too bad about the bike's plunge, but great recovery. Can't wait to see the blacked out look with CF accents. Keep it up!

Got a couple of parts in the past week. Jut waiting on LED mirrors and most of everything will be sitting in the garage waiting to go on. Hopefully by the end of january I will have it all put together!!

Lawst Caws frame plugs
Delrin no-cut frame sliders
CF triple, gas, and gauge cover (SKUR)

sorry about the shitty quality, robbed the pic from instagram lol..

Digital camera is on the wishlist, maybe a gopro in the early new year.

The lesson here is to always carry a kickstand pad if you are in a hot environment. Just ask people who live in Arizona and Texas.

Just ordered a speedo healer from a dot net member. Next mod I have in mind is the G-craft replica rear reservoir from superbikesupply !
