I agree, he was the greatest heavyweight in MMA. Just a shame he didn't sign with the UFC to truly cement that theory!
He was an awesome submission fighter too which is what made him deadly.
He signed to StrikeForce not UFC. He did well initially until he got caught in that armbar by Werdum.. Didn't recover from that loss.
Still, a legend that ruled for a decade!
sorry mate yeah your absoutley spot on it was strikeforce. it still hurts thinking bout werdum catching him wth that armbar. we all know in the real world outside the cage werdum would of got his ass handed to him by fedor. yeah the guy was a machine, power, stamina, explosiveness, striking, grappeling. he had the LOT! think he gone back to russian sambo now. think it will be a very long time before we see another fedor. that decade of destruction is an unbelievable achievment in mma

Exactly, 95% of this video is from Dave Chappelle's interview with Inside the Actor's Studio. (Great interview if you haven't seen it yet.) All he did was add a musical score to it and stuck his name on it. Ridiculous.
As for Dave, watch that whole interview. He isn't just some average pot head turned comedian. He's was the only one in his family to stray from higher education because of his love for comedy. Very intelligent guy.
