Arata Slip On Installation

Fitted my Arata slip on this evening, no problems, lines up nicely etc. However, I cant use the OEM exhaust clamp because the diameter of the new pipe is too small. Should I have got a new clamp with the Arata or do I not need one?

Thanks

Did u buy it used or new? Don't quote on me this but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to come with a clamp. I know these are two different exhaust but my leo vince came with a clamp. How about calling arata?

It appears to be one of two possibilities:

i) I have the wrong link pipe.
ii) The link pipe just slips over the OEM collectors / CAT and does the tolerances are such that a clamp is not required.

They will let me know Monday as Japan is now on weekend.

Cheers

Pics damn it! I don't see how a reputable pipe manufacturer skips the clamp from the package. Either some one tampered with the package or you're just unlucky. Contact manufacturer/retailer if you bought it new.

Just buy an automotive exhaust clamp, make sure you get the size right, personally i'd get some sort of gasket type seal there as well so it really is air-tight, don't want any lost gas now do we! (from your ass either)

and yea post pics or nobody will believe you as hardly anyone gets an arata slipon, I'm finding it hard to sell them....to be fair i put it on a free advert website but still, not even an email contact for one of the best hand made exhaust slipons in the world
