You can put them on without any modifications but I would recommend ordering the lower bracket for the left side if I remember right. That way you aren't flexing that lower too much

A little update of what has been going on... I tried doing the black out and LED mod but I messed that one up. I didn't realize that on both sides of the LCD Panel was film and I took off the wrong side. Long story short, I tried fixing it, but it is only the LED mod.
Recently I got some cf for the gauge and triple tree, FP stealth shorty levers, rear brembo brake reservoir and hot bodies flush mounts. In the mail today should be my Gilles VCR rearsets! I'll post pictures when I have time
It's been a little bit since I've been on here but I'm starting to make some progress. When doing the LED Gauge mod I broke a tab on the nose fairing and ended up having a shop in town plastic weld another tab on. I also was struggling with the rear sets but I have them figured out and should have most of everything on tomorrow. The levers went on easily as well as the new flushmounts. Im painting the subframe tomorrow also so lets hope it all comes together real nice. Any suggestions are welcome on what to do next
After fitting the gilles I realized that the only way possible to mount them would be to have them set up as GP Shift. I ended up taking them off and sending them back even though I got them for a steal. But the hotbodies flushmounts, FP Levers, LED gauge mod, powdercoated rear sets, painted subframe and brembo reservoir relocation is done now. Crappy cell phone pics though
Now I'm just waiting on a CF exhaust shield from tekarbon to get here and that will determine if I will buy more CF from then soon.
Just took most of the fairing bolts to a local guy to get powder coated. I ended up just having him do the bolts, fren tubo line brackets and front reservoir in a semi gloss black. Anyone have any input if I should get the lower fairing bolts in white or have him do those in black as well??
Thanks, I just ordered a 35w hid kit from bkmoto and I'm still waiting on the lawst cawz frame plugs. Planning on getting a 520 conversion kit hopefully early next month

Today was a good day for me, I got my plugs and bolts. These frame plugs are some quality products, I haven't put them on yet but you can tell they are durable by the density of them.
I love doing my powder coating locally, I got some misc bolts and brackets back and I asked him if he wanted me to pay now and he said dont worry about it. I took him a couple more bolts for my lowers that I want white so I'll pay him tomorrow when I pick them up, a one day job and for free isnt too bad at all!!
I just installed a set and I'm really happy with the fit and finish. I used a soft faced hammer to gently tap the rubber inserts into place along with a small amount of silicon to ensure they remained securely fitted. For Part #2 I heated the adhesive 3M backing to ensure it bonded well to the face of the frame pivot bolt. Overall they are great quality frame inserts and you certainly will not be disappointed.

We just got hammered with snow again but I'll probably end up doing the same thing, when you're saying silicone you are talking about glue right?

Today I got around to doing a couple things, ended up putting on the powder coated parts and the cf exhaust shield. The cf shield ended up not fitting 100% because the lower bolt hole is a tad to small, I'll end up sanding it down once I start feeling better. Other than that I think the matching bolts looks great and the black brackets... better pictures will be taken with the warmer weather.
HIDs and the alarm are here. Just waiting for some heat to install the lower decals, lawst caws and the previous two things mentioned. Time to whore it up with some pictures...
That's what I'm thinking, figured I would get the lights to watch for all the deer in Wisconsin and then obviously to keep the num nuts away from her. I'm hoping to get it all done this week but this cold is getting worse and worse
Bike is looking like sex, gj man. I agree with John though, you should replace those ugly oem mirriors lol. Rizomas are a bit pricey but really look good, there are always other brands as well.
Post up some pics when you get your HID's installed, cant wait to see them. Im waiting for mine to arrive.
