Actually yes! I had a small incident from someone kinda cutting right across my front. Had to patch up a few spots on the track plastics again.
This is post crash on that track day. The front up by where it has the red triangle part took a little damage as did the mid fairing at the top edge and the tail got scuffed a bit.

On top of that, I swapped from Shogun no-cut sliders to Woodcrafts. Put on Woodcraft clipons, renthal kevlar grips and 90 deg valve stems with the new set of bstone r10s.

In progress...

The crashed side.

Other side

Clipons and grips

I forgot to add, I also put in the full HRC quick turn kit. Changing the throttle cables was a PAIN!!!

CBR600RR Build

I watch this thread with interest as you have added some really great additions to the bike. Excellent build so far.

Thanks! I am planning on sinking some more money in her over the winter. Can't just decide what to go with next. Everything is a bit on the spendy side.

Arrow Header + Bazzaz (w/QS)
GPS Laptimer
Slipper
Forged Rims
Wave Rotors + New MC

Performance Parts

If I were in your position I would go for a Power Commander V, HM RL Quickshifter and an STM or Sigma Slipper Clutch. You will probably get more from those three things than the other modifications. I have added the first two to my CBR and its made a huge and noticeable difference particularly on track.

The ones that go on the tail? I think I have them packed up somewhere collecting dust.

The only reason I was thinking of going with the Bazzaz and getting its quickshifter, is it is adjustable on the cutout per gear. Also, I think it may be a bit cheaper than a PC V and HL QS together.

Usually on Hondas you have to take the whole tank and airbox and everything off for them haha...did it on a 1988 bike, dropped a tiny nut in there my god...must have taken an hour to get that back...

That wasn't even the difficult part. Getting the lower throttle cable in, seemed near impossible for anyone without child sized hands.

Brake Discs

Very nice. Will be interested to hear how they compare to the OEM discs for track use.

I'll let you know. I found out they are 320mm so I just ordered some 5mm Brembo spacers.

Great bike, might want to consider tyre markers. Ry6rr applied some to his bike and they look great.

Great collection of parts you have there and good call on the STM Slipper Clutch. Enjoy installing everything.

Soooo this weekend I finally put in some time installing some stuff.

I picked up some Galfer pads since I put on new rotors. Still some life left on the old ones.

Done! On to something more challenging.

Next up, Arrow headers.

Removal was pretty easy. I unhooked the radiator at the bottom and used a universal joint and a 12" extension.

Old vs New (big difference in weight)

New gaskets (top), Old gaskets (bottom)
The old ones weren't bent until I used a flathead screwdriver to pop them out. They were about half the height of the new ones though.

Snuck in an oil change

and.....done. Only one bolt was a bit difficult to put back on and I had to use a wrench and go about a 1/6th of a turn at a time.

Next, I put on driven block off plates. Pretty straight forward.

It was nice to ditch all extra stuff.

installed
