You are probably going to need to look into lowering the exhaust a little. I am about to install the same exhaust and a Tripage IT myself. Have already started looking into lowering brackets to make that light stand out
I should have mine installed in the next couple of days without a lowering bracket to start, but i am sure there will be someone on here that can show you a pic before that.
yep, you're gonna definitely need to lower that RS5 a little if you want to put in a tail light up top. I'm actually considering going back to factory exhaust and installing a TST tail light because I just don't want to have to lower down that exhaust, and because it's just too loud for my taste

Can anyone tell me which exhaust (full system or can only) provides the best improvement in torque? I'm looking to pruchase an aftermarket exhaust (Arrow, Akrpovic,Yoshimura etc) however I'm looking for a comparsion on the top rated exhaust for performance and specifically improvements in torque. My only other requirement is the exhust fits onto the existing mounts and there is no need for any modification of the existing tail lights etc. Can someone help?

youre gonna be disappointed mang. any of those brands you mentioned along with many others, arent gonna give you much improvement on tq or hp.
your best bet to do a sprocket upgrade. although you dont gain any numbers for tq or hp with a sprocket change, the difference in acceleration will make it "feel" like an improvement or "boost" in performance.
reaching the powerband of the bike quicker.
I have a question about stock exhaust pipes EGCV in 07 600rr.
Has anybody removed it completely? I disconnected the servo wires and wired it to fully open but I had problems with it because the wiring broke in bumby racing circuit (worked fine for two years) and the valve closed and I spent several hours locating the fault. I am looking now for either better way to make it stay open (bolt, screw, etc.) or removing it completely.
Racing exhaust would be the answer if low cost is found but since that other means are needed.

Exhaust is really loud, this video does not do it justice. Very well made, dual aluminum cans, Stainless Steel Midpipe, i paid about $589 includes shipping. If u like loud exhausts this is it. If not, then i would stay away..

Nice bike, and the exhaust sounds pretty bad ass. Where'd you buy it, and how much did it run you?
I bought it from toceperformance.com, they are a company in Connecticut... I paid $589 and that includes shipping. I think its $564 for exhaust and $25 for shipping...

My last bike had a LV slip on installed already. I'm not sure if its the SBK, EVO2, LV1, etc. reason I ask if because I'm looking to get the exact same one that was on my last blue bike. I know there some versions that stick out way more than my old LV and those are also called SBK just like my old one that was more flush with the tail. Any help is appreciated! Here are pics of my old LV

Loving the sound of it, can't wait to get mine. I just love how raw it sounds without the raspyness.
BTW bigglen where did you get those fairings? The fitment looks pretty good
