For those of you who listen to them, the whole album is up to hear here. Great black metal from Sweden.

yeah, sorry about that. I reminded him this morning and he responded saying he's in a tight spot this week and then like 2 mins later he says fuckit and he's back in.
This is a make-up show from when they were supposed to come during Halloween but the hurricane came through and they backed out. Machine Head was also in the line up but they've been having trouble lately and backed out like halfway through the tour.
Yeah, that 4-5 hour drive is a doozy. Made a trip from Norfolk to Philly twice the weekend before and it's not the funnest. Lots of boring scenery after a while one stretch looks just like another.

Has anyone had the privilege of watching any of the BIG 4 playing together?

The Gojira/log/Metallica show i went to was the one where that girl was kidnapped that made national news that metallica offerd a reward for info here in Charlottesville VA. We havnt had a metal show at that arena since which pisses me off FML

I work security at that arena among others now and there is tons of crazy theories about that night. One even involves a crooked cop (which my family has had a shady experience with) because they found her in a field near where he lived and he was involved in the investigation. Not long after he took his own life.
Here is the story on wiki. Its sad but in my opinion would therehave been just as much media coverage if it was a poor random girl

It sucks that there has been no metal show there since, but ive worked stage security for a Rick Ross show since haha

Wow...sad to hear that there's been no closure for her family. Nice thing to do on Metallica's part by adding to the reward.

Wow, I haven't been in hear for some time. It is absolutely awful to hear about this little girl, first time hearing about it. Kudos to Metallica on offering a reward indeed.
Rick Ross ehh Ink, niiiice
So he actually pushed the teenager off stage, and the kid died of his injuries?
