Little story over the weekend....DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA
So On Dec 3rd I sold my 1000rr rear view mirrors. but I told the buyer I'd have to wait till the money is cleared by my bank in order for me to mail him the items and it'd take 3-5 days till the money is cleared. Little flash back, he also mention to ship it on the slowest option there is since he wont need it till March 2013. I was like...OK got it...
I than told him if he can send it as gift ( IF hes comfy with that but if not than thats fine) but he said he sent it already. Anyway I didn't make it into such a big deal.
The whole deal happened on nov 29th which fell on thursday which means 3-5 days without counting the weekends until the money is cleared. He than text me on monday dec 3rd, but i didn't reply back till later on that day cuz I was at chucwalla for TD (btw it was an awsome day). I told him sorry for the late reply and explaint to him what had happen. I also told him that the money I transfer from paypal to my bank account hasn't cleared yet. I guess by this time he was already frustrated thinking I'm going to screw him up.
So on Dec 8th he text me "?" and on Dec 9th he filed dispute on my paypal. How i found out? He wrote "beware.....". I was like WHAT TF ... really? I than told him the reason why I could text him back was because I dropped my phone on the parking lot and it was raining so my phone got messed up. So I showed him the pic of my phone and the water indicator on the battery... in return he sad "good thing I didn't sent the money as gift...." but lets get back to the text i sent... I specifically told him IF he comfy with that.
So now I ended up with -$135 on my paypal account (no prob. with that...I can always make payments for it) and rep. on the line. Heck I figure... better to write an essay so you guys can see from my corner and be the judge.
The way I see it, He could've PM me... but another argument is I could also PM him. Shoulda coulda woulda right? I'll post pics of the actual texts. in a minute so you can see for yourselfs.
All you need to show PayPal is that you have a tracking number and a reciept for shipping. And if its in you Paypal the money is yours I don't understand why you have to wait till it hit your actual bank? And take a picture of the items in the box. And reply with all the information to PayPal when you reply to the dispute.

Just post pics of our sextin lol jk... well I told him I'd have to wait till the money he sent me cleared by my bank THAN I could send him his mirrors using the $ he sent me. I was budget up tight to my neck cuz of TD that monday which was Dec 3rd.
I don't know why you had to wait for your bank to clear it either.....seems like you don't trust the guy but want him to trust you?

Sooo most likely wednesday is when I can pull so money from the bank.

Now you mention that... How can I proove something if what I said was spoken words. Those texts above are some crucial evidance. Other wise its an he said she said case ;)
I've had people do this to me needing to wait until it clears in the bank. No big deal I wait always got my parts. The guy was just being paranoid you clearly told him what was going to happen he obviously didn't pay attention. His fault IMO

Its not like this just came up... You told him from the start that you were waiting for it to clear before they go anywhere....
Plus paypal gives the buyer 45 day protection. So if the buyer hadn't received any shipping info or contact within 2 weeks, then he could have filed a dispute or been worried. 5-6 days is a quick reaction when the seller clearly explained the situation.

I just don't see why money needs to be cleared to a bank first. It's in your PayPal...he can't take it back. I've ALWAYS shipped out same day money is received in my PayPal in over 200+ positive sales on eBay. Even if he stated he wants it to clear that's just plain stupid.
The only reason I see for clearing to bank account is that you're a complete broke a** that can't afford shipping and should get your priorities straight in that case.

This whole writeup is to defense myself from being called a scammer... The scenario was simple and all recorded on the text I posted up.
1. He want the mirrors

3. He said NO...
4. I said NO BIGGIE ITS ONLY $4 BUX ANYWAY

6. **** happens (lala land would be **** never happen) which I dropped my phone in the water.
7. He text me but I couln't receive his msgs cuz of my messedup phone.
8. He got antsy
9. Paypal dispute... Calling me scam (go back to #2,3,4)
10. I was like WTF SERIOUSLY!?
11. How can I know if he tried to reach me if my phone is BROKEN. Did he forgot that I can also be reached here through PM or something?
12. Told him what happened with my phone (you can see the cracks on the pics I posted...its not a random broken pics from internet) but he still antsy...
13. This whole situation is solveable... If he's open minded enough, we could've solve it there and than. No need to dispute or at least give me heads up bout the dispute and solve it TOGETHER.
