Schumacher ,McGuinness, Mamola, Espargaro, Flint Track event
The event saw Monster Energy and the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team bring together F1 legend Michael Schumacher and an all-star line-up of two-wheel talent, including fellow greats of their sport: John McGuinness; Randy Mamola, star in the making Pol Espargaró, and endurance racer Keith Flint to ride on a specially arranged track day.
“Riding with Michael was so good. What he’s achieved on four wheels makes him the Godfather of motorsport”, Said a buzzing McGuinness, who has 19 TT wins under his belt, as he tried to take in the day’s experience. “I wasn’t expecting him to be anything less, but he’s fast! You can see his enthusiasm for motorcycles and it was a massive pleasure to spend the day with him.”
The complement was emphatically returned by seven-times F1 World Champion, Michael Schumacher: “Coming here I felt so proud to be able to turn my hand at riding a bike with guys I really admire. I can’t begin to explain how much fun it was to ride the track with the likes of John, Randy, Keith and watching Pol Espargaró’s huge talent.”
Prodigy member Keith Flint no stranger to bikes having been an active member of racing paddocks for several years: “I was truly able to use the word ‘legend’ to describe the company I was keeping; both from four and two wheels. As I pulled out of the pit lane I mentally pinched myself as I followed out Randy Mamola, Michael Schumacher and a true gladiator in John McGuinness. That Espargaro kid is a bit of a handful too isn’t he?”

McGiunness kills the notion of having to be in top shape to be a top rider!
I always notice how seemingly out of shape he is, at least compared to the other guys. You can't really say anything about it though, his results are incredible.

He's hardly ever off a motorcycle though (whether that be superbike, moto x, enduro, speedway even).
I think his argument is that gym fitness doesn't correlate 100% to motorcycle racing.
Only riding a motorcycle at speed is guaranteed to give you the prep you need.
It's about 6 months away and I'm already looking forward to the TT!
Me too! The TT is my favorite part of the year! I'd kill to go see it in person.

You ain't the only if we can arrange a 600rr.net trip to the island that would be brilliant I have looked up packages on the TT website and honestly I was blown away by the package price Its possible if you put together the elements of the trip such as airline flight to the Uk then the Fairy ride followed by accommodations and tickets to the races it might cost way less
