Is 120mph minimum on african freeways any goodpolice don't stop bikes, LOL they can try but...think their car will break down and they dont actually have any way to tell your speed unless they stop and get a radar gun out.
Also i've never owned an RR and i had an RVF400 at that time, is that extra points?stable as anything, loads more power left, on a 400, i also accidentally sped off when police were behind me, their markings are so old and dumb i didn't even see him lol, he didnt do anything either, just carried on plodding along, they also use their sirens there to get home in rush hour quicker, corupt basterds LOL...i moved back here to the UK due to the wages, its a fun place though still waiting on a card that allows me to carry a firearm for 10years though, I don't even live in the country anymore, still waiting for the damn card! africa works at its own time!
I passed cops doing 190 and they didn't give chase. I don't think they got my plates either because they never caught me. Gotta love open Australian roads.
well I have the 11' (really havent changed so i think i can still post on this). I brought her to 147mph but then ran out road but she was still climbing at a great pace, after 11krpm it really pulls, and took the sweep turn on highway 94 at 120mph and handling was still a dream

Nope... He's an aussie. We work in km/hr. I have had a CBR250RR at just a touch over 200 on the dial, I would be very very disappointed if my 600RR couldn't go faster...

that's nuts, max I ever managed to get on my VTR-250 was 145km-ish and that's only because I was racing down and incline, had the wind at my back, and had drunk three red bulls that day so I'm pretty sure I was also flying.
The 250RR was pretty damn quick up till about 150, not to bad until around 180 and slow as after that point... I reckon it took me around 2-3 mins to get to that speed.
Radared 228 km/h (142 mph) two weeks ago at our local airfield. Speedometer told me 248 km/h (155 mph). Did the 1/4 mile in 11.900 seconds, I'm not very good at launching her yet ;).
If you think that's exciting try diving into turn 1 at speed at your favorite track. Going fast in a straight line is awesome the first year you ride, then you realize it's just...you know...
One good thing about Florida are the bridges. You can see for miles ahead of you and its not like there are bushes or whatnot for cops to hide behind.
"Someone who isn't me" stopped looking when the GPS said 151. It was solid as a rock and planted to the road, but the wind was ridiculous. You really need some skin tight leathers going that fast....and a double bubble.
08 stock 165 once.. last weekend got up to 147. Open freeway riding with a buddy on his 919 figured we'd open it up a have a little fun for a second. Surprisingly I pulled away no problem. Both had out fill and let up after that.
But yea 165 is about as fast as I've ever gotten it about red line in 6th wouldn't go anymore. Took about 12 to 18 seconds to get there tho. After 120 it starts to slow on the spedo climb.
And as for handeling it pretty much just wants to go straight I have to really lean or let off and lean to get it to turn a little if going off course.
