Fastest i went was on my 07. Chasing my friend on his trip 9r Fila. Looked down at 154. It was surprisingly stable but man does stuff come up so much quicker at that speed. Once at that speed was enough.
159 indicated on my 2011 600rr on a slight uphill but wouldnt redline...oddly enough my gps read 159 as well so i guess my speedo is perfectly calibrated?

I just touched 150 on the front straight at ACS this past weekend. Which ended up messing with my head a bit as I proceeded to blow Turn 1.
What a dork.

one of the first things at the track event i went to early on, we were told to tape up the spedo, so that we don't get distracted and... ^
not sure about top speed on my end but must have been close at least a few times to the 150 mark (at the track of course)...
I only just this year started not taping up my speedo (after about 9 years of track riding), so I could glance at my exit speeds during specific corners to gauge my consistency. Poor man's lap timer I suppose.

I touched 140mph on a street in the middle of nowhere. With fresh pavement and long straight lanes for 10 miles. My buddy on his 250 **** his pants calling me a dumbass.
There was no one for miles but us. So I gunned it, at 1:30am down that road.

^^ just a word of advice, may be you should think twice before going at that speed at 1:40AM. regardless of how straight this road is, road's condition changes rapidly. even a road kill or 2*4 can easily cut your days short. dont judge the 250, 'some' of them can smoke our beloved RR any day of the week.
now sorry for the thread jack, but for me, I did 120 on a public road considered myself asking for it.

Wow you guys really push your bikes...
The highest I've gone is 150 km/h which is like 93 mph.
Funny enough I've gone faster in my car. (190 km/h, 120 mph)
I'm still a new rider. Only have had my RR for half a season (and been riding 1 season).
Fast, however for some reason i felt safe but didn't feel safe doing 148 on my 600rr. A friend has an R6 and reckons he's had it at 175..
I will run mine at full speed this coming summer which has a top speed of 185 ecu unflashed and will run it again when flashed which im told will give me a top speed of about 201.....

93? Come on bro... just don't look at the speedo. You won't even realize how fast you're going. :)
