is there anything i can do to my 04 600rr to give it a better sound? i still have a stock exhaust system...i like the way 2brothers pipes sound but im not tryna brake off that much cash for the whole set. i mean thats like half the amount i paid the bike alone lol
It's not necessary to blow money on the full exhaust system if you are not going to track it, but it would be nice to. Two brothers seem to be one of the most favorite ones, next to Akra and Yoshi. There's quite a few others as well. You can try searching on the forums to see for the pipe sound test... or google if anything. It's all the pipes that are available for the CBR600RR.
Find the slip on you want and just search all over this site craigslist eBay wherever to find a good deal on one, a used great condition slip on will be well within your budget.

my first slip on was a two brother pipe i won off flebay i picked up pretty cheap, they have a nice deep note, iv since gone to a jardine RT-ONE i picked up from a wrecker i got for 1/3 of the cost of the two brother pipe

Ma boy has a 2bros on his R6, he wants to get a megaphone pipe. He said hel sell me his exhaust. Is the exhaust a universal slip on? Or will it only fit his R6?
O n he has the entire 2bros exhaust kit not just the muffler

You're not cutting your exhaust, all you're doing is putting holes in the baffle that's inside it. When you look thru the exhaust outlet you'll see a plate about 1/3 of the way in, if you drill a few holes in it it'll give a little more tone to the exhaust that's all, no one will see anything.

there is a difference between being broke and being frugal. he didnt say he was too poor to buy a pipe. he just doesnt want to spend 1/2 the amount of cash he spent to get the bike.

the guy didn't even say he done it himself and he could have been someone like me who scrapped every dollar and cent to afford a bike gee, and i was broke after i brought mine but next pay i started to look for pipes so no need to say sell up.
i made the mistake of letting my mate get to my 03 cbr600rr and he bashed the cat out (can be done without cutting the cat open but takes a little effort) and replaced the baffle in my jardine can with a straight though piece of pipe
