Whoops, I should have explained that more haha. I was looking for a write-up comparing your thoughts on this setup to others, if you had any. I saw this a while ago and it seemed pretty cool. Don't know if there are any gains/losses, but it's something out of the ordinary.
Looks like ill finally finish myproject. 2 weeks after I bought her I seen this new compact size cherry. Visualized it bought it and some pipe and drew it up.. then a brand new 2bros fell in my lap for 100. I went easy route lol. Still have a brand new cherry under the bed waiting.... hmm

theres a muffler dealer warehouse by my house that makes glass packs in a million different sizes for $15. They'll custom make them too
i already have a two brothers, but if i didn't i'd throw one on with some extra baffling, i still might, i wanna hide my exhaust in my tail eventually and make a plate to cover the bottom of the tail with custom turn signals. when i get money...

Just bought a 12" from my local Pep Boys. Thought about the mounting and I think I will weld a custom bracket too it. Also, thinking about welding a tip onto it to add a little restriction. Glass Pack "mufflers" are straight through shots and I think the engine would like a little back pressure.

And as to the "why"...it is a custom exhaust with a great sound for about 1/10 the cost of the commercially made bike specific systems.
reason why they cost that much is because the research and development and time spent working on it actually will increase horsepower and not just increase sound. an exhaust is more than pipe and baffling, every bend and chamber is meticulously placed there to get every bit of HP squeezed out.
