Trying to help a buddy out on this one.
2011 ZX-6R that was parked right next to my RR stolen not too long ago. Kawi green with an IXIL exhaust, green LEDs, woodcraft clip-ons, Driven grips, OES frame sliders, Zero Gravity windscreen, and brand new Michelin Pilot Powers. He was working on getting a new alarm so he almost rested his bike on mine, but my alarm never went off. My alarm is super sensitive and would go off if you farted next to my bike, but nothing :(

The unique thing is the exhaust, only one other person in the area is known to have it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Bike was just recovered on the side of the road with the ignition ripped off and missing mirrors about a full tank of gas away from the apartment complex it was stolen from :/

Reading these stories gets me even more paranoid. Im so paranoid that I think my bike is going to get stolen that even locked in my garage right below my bedroom, I get up and rush down when I hear any type of exhaust that sounds like my bike.

There is this guy who owns ford mustang that litteraly lives right next door and I swear to god that sh.it sounds just like mine.

I got myself a U-Lock and Wheel lock attached to the front wheel and along with a Kryptonite New york 12mm Chain w/ 14mm U-Lock attached to the rear wheel and hooked around a pole to wherever i park. It maybe an overkill but idgaf. I spent way too much money and care for this bike to let it be stolen by some dikbag! I <3 u Rosalyn!

Anyways, glad your buddies bike was found. Must be a great relief, something I wish I never have to feel in my life regarding my bike.

Ugh im from tampa im scared crapless to leave my bike outside downhere to go into a grocery store wish there werent so many thieves in this world....... They need to get a life and respect that we work hard for our bikes and love them more than most love there cars

Thanks, I know what you guys mean, I'm always looking out the window or listening out for my alarm. These days you can never be too cautious.
The messed up thing is my buddies bike was never started even with the ignition ripped out and had no extra miles put on it. It was like it was stolen for practice. People these days just piss me off.

Full coverage insurance. Park that bitch inside, and don't even sweat it.

If someone steals my bike, that would suck, but if I did all I can to protect myself I wouldn't beat myself up over it.
