Help clarifying forum rules
Tried searching for rules on the forum but couldn't find any. Can someone enlighten me as to why new members can post on other new member's threads?!

It's to limit new users upping their post count (+100 needed to post in the classifieds section) by excessively posting on other users intro threads.

It used to be simple enough to go to new members and post the simple words welcome to the forum over & over again and before you know it they acquire the min post count that gives them access to the classified forum

Ah. Too bad you have so many abusers. Should just make the newbie section not count for post counts. That way those of us who could care less about the post count & genuinely want to welcome the newbies would be able too. So many ruin things for others. Well thanks for the clarification.

The post count has to register because without it counting new members will not have access to the various forums of the site ie their first post has to be in the new members forum to get access to various forums like I just stated before hand

The 1kr is nice. Always said I don't need a 1k but had to own one to know for sure. It's a great bike but I just like the 600 better for the riding I do. Plus I don't think the repsol looks good on the newer 1kr bodywork. Liked the 05 & 07 reps. The 13 rep says buy me... So I'm going to listen to it haha

I laugh because so many ask this question. They make it sound like your going from a moto GP bike to a scooter. It's not that big of a difference to me. Trade off of better handling but less HP. Works for me. I can buy more HP.
