haha, well what happened was we stopped there for a bite to eat, so we were eating fish & chips at the sea front (ah romantic), anyway the seagull $hit on him & it landed in his food, so he was going mental at all the gulls. then he decided to clean his t-shirt in the sea, but the tide was out so he had to walk about 300 yards to the water (nothing is quite as funny as seeing an angry scottish guy storming down the sand in leathers shouting at seagulls), but to top it all off, in that pic he's looking at his bike, why? you've guessed it, another gull had $hit on his seat , he didn't seem to think it was lucky lol.

I'd love to go to the TT mate, I'll need to properly look into it for costs & stuff, I've not had a proper holiday for 5 years due to the gf's uni. a trip to the TT would be a cracking way to celebrate her finishing (finally!!!)

I was thinking of camping if thats possible so ferry and food would be the only real expense...

It's four years since the last time . My dad booked it all , I think the ferry was about £150 ish inc the bike . And then it depends where you stay , I've camped, stayed in a hotel and a guest house.. obviously camping would be the cheapest . The prices rocket for the TT and Manx as expected , but worth it . Even if you do it once . Lots on , motocross , trials , beach racing , sprints etc in between race days . Plus the island is beautiful , especially if you are on the bike

Very niiiiiiice. Congrats, I'm pretty sure it sounds like the devil with the Akrapovic. You must be pulling your hair out waiting for good weather.

Cheers mate..

To be honest it may sound a little too loud, the cats been removed and Y-Pipe put in its place so its extremely loud. Don't get me wrong its a fantastic sound but i will be a bit worried about starting her up early morning, don't want to be waking the whole street up....

Got to ride with Matt last weekend and I can confirm that the R1 sounds an absolute beast. Gorgeous looking thing, completely immaculate. The bike looks brilliant too!

Yamaha R1

The R1 looks fantastic. I’m a huge fan of those Akrapovič carbon exhausts.

Well the weather has been a little better so ive had a few days out...

I have a couple of new mods happening just now. My ECU has been sent to Velox Racing to be flash tuned, this basically rids the bike of all restrictions....

Ive bought ASV levers, rear peg removal kit and smog plates to replace my AIS once removed....

I will add these mods this week and then post some new pictures... I keep looking at BST wheels but just can't justify the price....

Lmao, i have no idea how to create or use a youtube account so thats my gf's account plus if the old bill ever go after her for speeding on a yamaha r1 she can prove that she doesn't even own one......

Are there no up coming bike shows mate?? They always have bikes to take out....

Summers good thus far, im throwing the bike around now like it was a 600, however im giving serious thought to trading it in before the end of the year for the HP4. Im just going to see what the new r1 looks like with all the expected updates as im not 100% on BMW's build quality....

lol they'll say she stole your r1 for a joy ride, she could be a criminal mastermind!

I know how you must be feeling, I was testing the GSXR1000 on the weekend, that thing is so easy to just get on and it feels comfortable, I can see why people buy it, it made the GSXR750 I rode after feel like a 250maybe not that drastic but it felt like a toy to the 1000

Yea the BMW's had engine recalls didn't they, must have hurt them like an SOB, I think HP4's alotta £££ but your gonna be polishing it not riding it with all that £££ under your ass! I do agree the BMW's look nice though! I'd love to test ride one. I usually eye these red 2012 ones on auto trader:

i saw on autotrader older bikes(well not old...like 2011) are going for a steal now, thousands under the new bikes, R1's GSXR1000's, CBR1000RR's, all with like 3000miles...its unreal but I want that 2012 blade, im looking about other brands a bit more though, these days on 09+ bikes, they're all good, they're all fast, they've all got a cr4p load of torque...

as for riding, I'm waiting on insurers, I've told them I want it taken to court I'm sick of LV just sitting there doing nothing with no evidence of anything, wasting my time but my case handler is just annoying and saying I've gotta agree to all their reports etc which I don't because they're wrong, I'll win the argument eventually when he stops going around in circles but i still fear it wont be this summer...

oh and I'm wanting a car as well so my bills are going to be rediculous since I'll have to get one on finance too since this insurance **** isn't happening yet so no money
