Hey guys, first post here. (second actually after the noobie post)
I was told after getting a chain and sprocket replacement that my rear rotor was warped, I'm looking at ebay for a possible cheaper solution at replacing my rear rotor, possibly getting a bunch of stuff to make the purchase more worth while.
I'm looking at NZD$170ish for a rear rotor, I've had a look at ebay and there are so many choices, sure I put in my details "Honda CBR600RR, 2008"
Can anyone recommend or direct me to a couple of links, there are so many on there and half the time it says it's for my bike thought I'm not so sure.
I hear it's recommended to replace the pads as well so I will be looking for some new pads
When it comes to rear rotors, it's really not that big of a deal. You're not going to notice a difference between a stock replacement rotor over an aftermarket rotor that's expensive or cheaper. They have been using the same rear rotors for over 21 years now. As far as brake pads, EBC and GALFER brake pads are good. I will even vouch for the cheaper ebay brake pads too, I like to try everything and be open minded even as a motorcycle tech. Good deals are always awesome, especially if it ends up working out, and it always has. I'd recommend getting what you feel comfortable with and stick to sintered pads.

From my understanding sintered pads are better for harder braking however they will wear the rotor faster. Which comes with the bike, sintered or organic?
