I wouldn't worry about pistols too much. They are very easy to find as is pistol ammo in my neck of the woods. I plan on picking up another M&P9 full size and a long slide 9L after the holidays. I'm sure I'll be able to find them without too much hassle.
Of course having 3 complete AR15 rifles and another lower in my possession has me feeling pretty calm in this situation, I still want a couple more just to have. Hopefully the masses attention span will return to normal once American Idol and the playoffs come around and the panic will subside.

It's my current favorite polymer handgun platform. Also like the HK P30 and USP as well as quality 1911's. I used to run Glock, but found the Smith fits my hand much better. I also kind of have a soft spot for the Beretta 92 FS, but only its looks. Would love to add one to the collection.
I love my HK USP. The trigger pull is so smooth and even in the high calibers the recoil isn't not that bad. My cousins Walther PK380 has more recoil then my USP .40 plus they look great
Agreed. But that damn light has been a royal PITA. Broke it once already and it's going back for another fix after the holidays. Surefire picks a lame time to do inventory. Processing time is extended until after the holidays.

A lot of small caliber talk, I'll share my little .380, Sig P238, functions flawless, has a solid feel weight-wise, fitment is awesome. Came with SigLite sights out the box that are actually quite nice in size, I cannot say anything bad about this thing. I've grown quite fond that I can just toss it in my pocket, and I enjoy running rounds through it as well!-

Shot shell and brass case press' are different and from my understanding you can't use one in the same... I personally like RCBS due to the size and weight and reviews I got the mid line started kit that has everything but dies and micromiter... I over paid for my set locally by $200 which I found online for cheaper after shipping but the shop wouldn't refund or take a return after explaining I found it online cheaper so they broke their policy.. (That shop is all bs to begin with but that's beside the point)
The way I see it is its a second hobby some guys can rush and produce mass amounts quickly... I personally bought it for long range loads for perfection and cost than mass production... I'd suggest a turret press for that I went single stage for more consistency...
I personally don't know of the hit deals for materials which I'm still looking for because I stumbled upon a guy who makes range ammo (mfg reloads) and has them baggies and reloading for cents cheaper than I can make before factored cost of my personal time...
So I always go that rout for cheap ammo and buy in the thousands in bulk... But for match stuff or hot loads I load my own (mostly for rifle and revolvers) everything else I go cheap stuff...
But from my cousin using his shot loading isn't much different just different stuff needed shot and wads pretty much..
But again time consuming is dependent on you.. I take my time and break and set mine up after eah use and clean it and case trim and all that good stuff and inspect each case.. But it takes me about 20 min to set up and get ready.. And I load about 100 rounds in about an hour again this is for long range precision ammo not bulk stuff on a single stage press...
But for beginners I suggest going midrange started sets that half just about everything to set up and go then upgrade or add from there personally my set is done and set I don't think ill upgrade anything does what I need maybe competition dies later...
Again rifle and hand gun anything brass should work just shy of 50 cal those have their own press I believe you can convert a shot shell reloading being bigger with mods...

The fore grip is positioned whereas transitioning the gun is easier, but will lack the stability of longer range shooting; It is however, not set up for that anyways.
I've yet to find a laser or led light I like, I just want to keep the cost low when and if I do. Here are some pictures I took tonight.

Neh, I did a lot of searching and the t-pod is my favorite looking one. I will admit, it is rather large compared to others out there, but I like the design and functionally of it, it's different. Not a big fan of the really short vertical grips to be honest, not my style. Thanks for the comments above by the way.

I personally prefer 9mm. Better capacity, cheaper range ammo and defense ammo with pretty good ballistics. I have a p250 9mm compact that is 15+1. Have you looked at .40/.357sig? A lot of handguns in .40 can be .357sig ready with just the change of a barrel, which takes about ten seconds. Benefit to that is obviously one firearm that gives you two ammo options in a pinch. Personally with my 229 I shoot .40 at the range(mostly) and swap to .357 for self defense purposes. .40 is cheaper and the .357sig has excellent ballistics. .45 cal btw. 45mm is close to golf ball size, unless that's what you were referring to ;)

Just curious guys, where do you tend to pick up your ammo? I just bought some Wolf ammo from aimsurplus.com because it's cheap as **** and cycles through my gun just fine. I'd like to stock up a bit in case there is a new tax on ammo. the walmarts around here seem to be out since the re-election.
Also what's the best way to go about building an AR? I'm looking for an AR15 style build but I'm unclear on what I all need, and what will fit together properly.
