Red face this just isn't working out

I've enjoyed the time we had together. I want you to know that it's not you.. it's me. I need to just come out and say it .. there's someone else. Someone with a slipper clutch .. and suspension .. and AK20s .. and traction control bazzaz & quickshifter.

I've had nothing but Hondas thus far but I just can't pass up this deal on a ZX6. I'm gonna miss the RR. Crazy moving to a bike I know nothing about. Wish me luck!!

+1 you can't leave us hanging like that! I don't really like the kawis but then again I haven't rode one ever. Their new bikes are looking aesthetically better whereas the direction Suzuki and Honda are going aren't really my kinda style.

Good luck.

If it is a newer ZX6 from 2011 and on, boy are you ever going to love that engine.

if your tires are slashed and the kawi is taking a nap on the ground when you go to visit her early in the morning...... it wasn't the honda and you can prove anything!

LMAO

It's an 09 ZX6. Older but this bike is totally race ready. Only missing 1 thing, Brembo master. Full pipe, rear sets, chain convo, ohlins damper, ss brake lines, galfer wave rotors, trac control bazzaz, quickshifter, suspension, AK20s

My 07 RR had a brembo master, ss brake lines, a gpr ... and no slipper
After selling the RR I'm only out 1k. No way it will ride as comfortable as the Honda. Nothing beats that but I'll get used to it. I'll post some pics after I paint it.

I sat on a lot of bikes at the show last weekend. I must say I really did like the new 636 in black. I didn't find the new 600RR Repsol quite as ugly in person as it is in pictures. It still felt like the same old bike but I didn't like that tail section. It'll be interesting to see what can be done with that.

Never rode a kiwi before, looking forward to it someday.

But yeah don't tease us like that. The top end on that Kawi is very pleasing; so pics, review and everything everything you can offer.

Good luck.

I think the new 636 looks hot but one thing that you will find that sucks on that bike is the lack of a steering damper. There is a dude on youtube by the name of 'riding with tom', just bought a 13 kawi 636 and he said he got some scary tank slappers at high speeds on the highway due to the lack of a SD. For those of you that say "Just put a steering damper on it" that is about the ugliest thing I ever saw on a bike, all of them! That's what is hot about the cbr600rr is the HESD, built in! Looks nice and clean that way, just like the under-tail exhaust. Also, I like to use the triple tree hole for a GPS dock and a steering damper up top wont allow for that unless you get creative and then it looks more like shiz. Also, Kawis do not have the reliability and build quality that Honda has.

Like they say the grass always looks greener on the other side.....

On the other hand, Honda could have annihilated the competition with a hot redesign and a slipper clutch.

Oh Btw, traction control is for *ussies! Just saying... (Edit, I see the OP is a chick. my bad! You get a pass then. carry on...) lol

Yeah I don't know what's up with that. This one is new on the floor and has one. Looks like factory mounts. Weird.
