RR / Other Brands Bike BuildThis forum will be dedicated to RR build threads you are also entitled to post threads for other bike brands here are .net we love them all
They did their job very well. It's grate update, much better than stock ones. I should do it earlier. Give me more confident on my body position because I can lock my foot easily. Pegs give good grip, no sliding at all. Maybe pegs should be a little bit longer but they are ok. Don't know if I want to change their position or not, for now I have them on the lower screw, maybe next time I will put them up and back. Will see how it gone look like on the street. Thanks for help with the rear light switch :)

It was a while from last post here.
I lowsided my bike on the track back in october. No major damages, mostly the tail and crash pad take a hit, r&g craspad did their job well:
I bought new crash pad
Rear indicators I will also replace because I dont like the look of stock ones and right site is bend couse of lowside.
I found nice barracuda leds.

As the off season goes I am collecting parts that I will put in to my bike as soon as weather will let me :):
Renthal Road Race Grips (Medium Compound)
Hel Performance Front/Rear Braided Brake Lines (Hel call this color carbon ;)
HRC Rear Brake Reservoir
And small tires pimping
More parts will come after new year :)
As my bike is scratched I am thinking not to go in the look of it but will order some small performance parts. Maybe track fairing will come not decided yet.

Sorry about the lowside mate, just glad there wasn't much damage.
I see alot of people running those Renthal grips.. What's their purpose? Just more grip? Because they don't look very nice at all IMO.
Thanks Raj,
Renthal grips are for better feel and grip, I found them look very nice on the bike, look at ry6rr thread ;)
If it will turns out that they are not so good like people said about them I change them for rizomas

Guys I know that those grips are not best looking but are ok for me if they provide better grip and feel. Need more 3 months to instal :( I hate winter.
Thinking of the rim tape also, got issue with color to go green or white?

Thinking of doing the same :) Not sure if when I buy track fairing will go with green so I am considering white also. Have some time to think about this and the track fairing, other parts have the priority now, but if I find good price I will buy it sooner.
BTW, nice bike, like the modifications :)

As part of my brake upgrade this has been deliver to me:

.
and inside:
The fell of lever is awsome, I hope that break fell will be the same.
Don't know if the normal lenght lever is good for me (I always had short one) but will give it a try. Need to figure out what to due with clutch lever, leave my titax or buy brembo one or maybe buy rizoma clutch lever and Rizoma Short Brake Lever Feel for Brembo RCS. One mode implies another .
I want winter to end and put this all stuff to my bike and go for a ride.

I'm not against. I just don't see a need to have it. IT can may couse some problems with the police, moreover I want to ride track more than in previous year and don't need to have break light at track and stock one can be remove for track duties. I will definitely instal some FE but didn't choose any option at this point. My friend is working on some aluminium maybe I will ask him to do me some custom FE or will go with r&g or other brand. Barracuda are doing nice FE but rather expensive one.

There is no many information about this filters on .net but i found more on european forums not specialy connected with honda. Most review's were very possitive and put this filter higher than K&N and BMC. They dynoed wheir bikes with this filter as well as with K&N and BMC and power increase was slightly higher. I won't compare DNA with others but I will dyno my bike in the summer.
I bought it because of great price which was 30% off regular price so I didn't hesitate much. Was thinking of buying BMC but price did a job.
Filter seams to be very well build and they put a small container of grease to better seeling, nice addition.

I waighted stock one and new carbon fiber
Will try to instal it later this week.
