Only thing that stops you pretty much is psych/menta issues.. Felonlys.. Or restraining orders or previous criminal on parole which would break parole anyways...
Everything else should just be looked over.. They only look scor serious arrests or red flags to determine a negative motive to use/buy that firearms
Must be nice that your gun shop had the 19 in stock. There are no 19s available in the San Diego area right now. I bought one for my wife yesterday and they said it would be at least 3 weeks before it comes in. And the paperwork isn't bad here. I had to fill out more for the handgun that my lower receiver and it still only took about 2 minutes to fill it all out.

Yes thankfully. But up here , guns and ammo sales has rocket highs all AR's are sold out.. Handguns are soon too. And 9mm ammo is also gone soon. Shoot I check and even 22lr Ammo are clearing the shelves..

Same here I was supposed to go shooting but can't find anything in stock from 22 to 338.
Took my M&P 40 to the range yesterday. I definitely need more practice as I was consistently shooting low and to the left, which apparently has to do with bad trigger pull. 50 rounds go quick...
Well honestly with ammo going up and being so Sacred..I will prolly go to the range and shoot no more than 100 rounds on my new glock. And call it good.
Realistically, you should have 1k minimum for each caliber that you own. Also, don't skimp on proper training, practice of your draw stroke, and malfunction drills.

I dunno, but 1k rounds doesn't seem like a lot. It's not as if it takes a long time to go through 100 rounds with a hand gun and even less on a rifle with a decent magazine capacity... you could quite easily go through your 1000 rounds with 4 days at the range with a semi automatic rifle.
I could easily go through 1k rounds in a day... but that's also at the range, worst case scenario, 1k rounds will last you pretty long against a zombie apocalypse. As for training, there are plenty of things you can do with dry firing (trigger pull, malfunction drills, draw from holster, and mag changes etc..) the only thing you really can't train on is recoil management/double taps, stuff that actually requires the round being discharged.

I meant to write it as if you have 1k then you have no rounds left....more is always better.
I only have a few hundred for my pistol, about 1k for my rifle, and 1k on the way for the AR. Not nearly enough because I love to go shoot as much as possible. At a minimum I go through 100 rounds in the .40 and a few hundred in the rifle each trip to the range.

+1 if anyone is firing 1000+ rounds in legit self defense they had better have food and water supplies too because that means you're in it DEEP
I keep snap caps in just about all my guns,9mm up to 338 Lapura, can also practice with them in place of a dummy round.
The public panic will pass, they will make more ammo and more weapons, just have to sit tight for a bit, dont let that urge to go out and blast away a bunch of ammo get the better of you, I got four tins of 5.45X39 back in oct,of 1080 rds each, four 400 shipped, the same tins now are at $300+each!!
I let the drama unload my AR15 for double+some from what I'd paid.
Couldn't say no, was offered on it without it even being for sale. Second one I'd only owned for a couple months with no attachment and the money offered was right.
Hopefully things will settle down in a few months and I'll replace her.

By far the best most comfortable in-side-pant carry holster I've ever worn. I honestly forget I'm wearing it when I carry my CW. If my M&P was lighter I would probably forget with that one too.

Yea I just got 3 offers on YouTube for my rifle/lower..
Still contemplating weather to let it to and buy again or just hold into it...
Seein these bills actually starting to pass has me a little skeptical on how cheap/easy rebuilding will be

Check out the photos. I wear size medium gloves for riding .and the glock 19 actually fits perfectly .. Haven't gone to the range to shoot it yet. But when I do, I'll throw some feedback.
Btw.. Just purchase a black hawk holsters. Fits well.

My guess is he is talking about the 26. Unless you're Andre the Giant a Glock 19 is going to extend passed your palm.

Well I couldn't pass a good deal from a friend so now I'm building an AR. Kind of excited never built one but sure I can do it looked pretty easy. Just have the stripped lower, I'll probably get the parts kit this week but will have to get the upper once this scare passes. Now for those of you with multiple AR's how do I break the news to other AR that it'll have to split range time with the new one lol
