Ok, so we got riding season coming up in roughly 2 months, and I am sure everyone is ready to ride. But right now I am trying to get a feel on where everyone lives and who's down to ride. Every Tuesday we will be going to Hooters for bike night in Lansing and weekend rides to wherever.
So if people want, lets make a call to all MI riders and start setting up weekend rides and get togethers. As far as introductions, Ill start if off; names Paul, from Lansing, MI.
Get on CL and buy a cheap Garmin. $5 in parts and you can mount it up to the steering stem nut. Run the charging cord to the rear seat where you have the dual 12V, and you're golden.
he has a dual outlet off his tail then a cord that runs by his toolbox with a switch. flip the switch charges the GPS. its legit, kind want one for mine.
Chad...... If you decide to head north, holler at me. Maybe we can hook up and ride for a while. And your always welcome to crash here if you want on your way.
I don't know how you do it, my ass is done after 2 and a half hours. I need off the bike. Maybe a corbin seat helps? I noticed wearing my leather pants with the pads in the ass help prolong my seat time.
Chad let me know when your having a garage sale, every time i look in the classifieds your always buying something..I know you cant use all the stuff your buying at once..Ive been looki.g for new gloves and some boots but dont know what ones i want..
I got a ticket a few months back for Carless driving by the Livingston County Sheriff but he was outside his jurisdiction at Milford Rd on 96. He had to have a State Trooper come to give the ticket and they completely lied about what happened on the ticket. Had court this morning and neither showed so the ticket was dismissed.
^^^^^^^finialy a winn for the good guys...Congrats on getting out of it.When i got mine i was real carefull of speeding after that and still am..But its soooo easy to do over buy like 10-15 mph..
Yea I was doing about 10-15 over but it was on my old 93 Yamaha seca. I went around a car and accelerated to about 85. He wrote I was doing 105-110 in and out of traffic using all 3 lanes minimum of 25 times. A guy I work with was right there and saw the whole thing too.
