ok so i got my bike last april from cycle word in cherry hill nj. This was like the second day i had it.

First thing i did was get rid the signals and most of the mud flap. I got the idea from a member on here. NappyPriest i do believe. So its lockhart flush mounts and rear integrated light.

Next i purchased a KR Tuned titanium slip and the OEM Honda seat cowl

Most recently i have takin off the stupid mud flap do to Tripage building a tail light for us and had him powder coat my subframe-rearsets-pass pegs- exhaust can- mid pipe anddddd my gas cap.Picture from day i received everything back. I think that everything turned out great and glad i decided to get this done. Thanks T

At the same time i was getting everything PC'd i received this in the mail

bike already torn down so i got to work

Had a pretty hard time figuring out these do to this being my first sport bike. But from support on here and BrowningBucks how to thread I got threw it.
no more stock headers

after about an hour or so i finally got them together and started to look like something

Just saw your pic on the Pete's facebook page. lol.

You plan on taking it there for any service in the future? Been trying to find a decent certified Ducati servicing location locally but haven't been impressed. I've had good experiences with Koup's up in Harrisburg, PA, but it's a hell of a drive.

Hoping to see some good reviews from Pete's now that they are certified.

I need my first service done so I called around to some places the other day. Petes said it'd be $430, battleys said it'd be between $325-350 and speed cycles said $320 with a %25 discount for being a first time customer. Wondering why Petes is charging $100 more when they have just started servicing and selling them. Either way I think I'm going to head to battleys for the service. Wish I would of thought of working the first service into being part of the deal for buying the bike

We bought my wife's Duc from Battley's. Sales experience was great; service not so much. It was pretty apparent they cared more about the Harley's.

We stopped going there after the warranty was over. They replaced her leaking master cylinder 3 times and it was still leaking. They also refused to acknowledge the starting issue. Kept trying to sell us a new battery when the battery was perfectly fine.

Wife called around and Koup's quoted the best price for her 7500 mile service. They fixed everything and actually sounded excited to work on it. Service guy could barely wait to hop on it.

7500 mile service is the same as the first service right? 15k service is the expensive one? Maybe I'll try calling koups today to see about they're price. Honestly I've never liked Pete's cycle they've always been priced high even back when I raced motocross. I wonder if I call Pete's back and play the shops against each other if they'll drop their price.

No the 7500 service is more extensive than the first. They basically check everything, even valve clearance.

Ended up costing around $700 I believe, including labor and parts.

Agree with you about Pete's. Although I like the Baltimore location more than the Bel Air. I've never had service done, but they always hooked me up on gear. I actually got 20% off my last helmet.

Ahh, I stand corrected. It looks like the 2-valve bikes (including my wife's hypermotard) have different service schedules than the 4-valve/panigales. 2-valve calls for a valve check @ 7500, 4-valve does not.

Anyway, confirmed with the wife that Koup's quoted the lowest out of everyone else, and even ended up about $200 under their original quote after all was said and done. She loves the place; last year they had demo rides and free pizza. The rides were real laid back; they didn't go over rules or anything, just let you hop on and rip around. They're having an open house June 6 and that's all she's been talking about for a couple weeks.

Thanks man! Enjoying every minute so far. Bikes amazing don't have any complaints except the shape of the chain guard allows the chain to sling the lubricant up onto the tail fairing which is a pain to clean and that the bike doesn't allow you to clutch wheelies so I guess those days are over for me haha
