Not sure why i didnt start this when i joined? but as they say better late than never
Purchased bike Dec of 08' from Mission Cycle in Barrie Ontario, with approx 7700km's on the dial. Was more or less stock when i picked her up, did have a progrip tank pad though. Prev bike was an 02F4i Red Silver
one happy dude on a cold Dec day
On deck is installing my sliders, and ordering Woodcraft Case Covers. Hard to believe all the goodies ive added thus far, note to self do NOT tally up the $ lol
They weigh the same. They do fit. So I've been told. For just my self. I could get them for $1800, taxes in. But that includes new axel, and everything else.

ok they are the same, i was un the impression from bike mags the newer rims were a bit heavier vs the old 3 spokes? From my contact/dealer
"$942 front and $1048 rear. Could offer you $1500 + tax" so about $1695 w HST. If im going to drop 1500 on rims, i prob prefer them to weight a bit less (Carro's) im sure i could find a used set for 1500?
find a set of ninja 636 rims and get them to fit. i changed out a set of tires last weekend, then did a set on a 636, they got to be damn near if not the lightest OEM jap rim on a 600 ive ever lifted.
still not as light as the OZ wheel that was on my ape though lol

I am not certain if this is still the case, but I did read somewhere that the 2007+ CBR600RR rims were the lightest OEM rims of all manufacturers. I did read this about 2-3 years ago, so who knows if it still stands.

From Carro's site when you buy a new set
"all wheels include bearings, distance tubes, wheel spacers, rotors carrier and sprocket carrier installed. All wheel set will require a different from stock sprocket (except ZX6R, ZX10R and ZX12R)"
I was referring to the 2013 CBR 600RR wheels from Honda. If they fit properly, one should only need to buy the wheels by themselves and you can get those for under $1300.
They've been just fine thx, dont think ill re adjust; like them wear they sit now. Re Gilles, love em! adjusted chain a tad last night, took me minutes, glad i picked those up
how are u liking the Renthal med grips cbr? Im thinking to go to those from the stock, because they are to hard. did the measurements work out right some ppl say some are smaller diameter then the stock so hard get on.
did u use glue or just slide them on with compressed air? how would u compair them to stock?
^ Renthals are great, cheap too, i think i paid $15 or something, easy to install. This is my second summer w them i can see there slowly starting to show wear. Will prob need to grab a new set next year. OEM's werent hard to remove imo, just pulled them off w a twisting action sorta, Renthals i used some of the wifes hairspray lol. I was thinking about getting the Driven D3's but decided on the cheaper Renthals instead, a bit more involved w installing the D3's as well
I got mine from Parker (Vtec) one piece 100%CF, not sure where he picked it up, but he was having issues w it sticking properly so I bought it used the grey 3m DS tape, its been on for a year or so now no issues. Its Reg weave, and why I went w reg weave for my headlight side panels and mid inserts. My Hugger and sprocket cover are 2x2 though, which im fine with there away from each other and compliment each other imo. As Jon mentioned you can get it from Skur but theres a few other vendors out there as well. Also if you wanted the Honda Racing one that's also an option, not 100CF though but nice looking nonetheless
Honda Racing Yoke Cover, and Gauge cover both 1 piece 1x1 weave
